Guys, there were currently a released of 4 new AHS advertisements with 4 different themes. I think the AHS Creators are messing with us but what do you think?
I'm really excited for the return of the aliens, and of course Lady Gaga. I say with regret that I only got into the show because of Gaga's appearance, but I'm watching all the other seasons to catch up with what I've missed and I'm loving it.
the creators have been deliberately making unrelated teasers to keep people off track.
"Landgraf revealed that American Horror Story filmed several promos, including "many more" the public hasn't seen, to promote the new season -- but only one of them is an actual teaser for the show. The rest are red herrings and FX isn't about to tell you which is which."
i wouldn't read too far into AHS' symbolic promotional material anyway, people totally do every season then are surprised when a season diverges from the teasers
but i kinda hope that courage the cowardly dog esque farm house meets texas chainsaw noises has something to do with it, or they're meta teasing season 6 being more connected to other seasons
Although I am still waiting to see season 5. I usually wait until they go on sale since I don't have the channel for it. I just finished Freakshow and it was awesome!!
The theories I've heard on the actual story for season 6 is going to be something to do with aliens and the whole “croatoan” mystery. Because they had the tree on the set, and the writer said there was a "hint" at season six in season one, like when Violet was trying to get rid of the gay couple.

Also like we saw in season 2 there can and have been multiple themes in one season, like the combo of the zombies, angels/demons and aliens, these could all easily be things that are going to be in the series.
