Unofficial Rules and Guidelines (Updated: 1/17/11)
The following is a compiled list for new and old members that are using the not the new not TBT.
The following are not rules, not guidelines and general eratta regarding things that are a part of what the New Not The Bell Tree is, in fact about. The Following not rules/ no tguidelines should be followed verbatim or a mysterious man named Bacon Boy will come to your house and offer to play card games with you.
By following the following not guidelines and not rules you might just survive on these forums.
That being said, harken to the new not rules and not guidelines of the not old new TBT:
1. On the whole, the not The Not Bell Tree administrators and moderators are all ban-happy and short tempered.
2. The Not Bell Tree is not as dedicated to Animal Crossing as it used to be but is still awesome,therefore you must be a member.
3. Yes *Trevor and Pally are a couple. Don't ask about it.
4. Submit cash deposits with every question relayed to either Jeremy or Miranda or they will permaban/ip-ban you and proceed to make mean jokes about your mother.
5. Ages 13 and up only! Unless you just want to lie
6. Don't feed the [nook]. (Trust me, you'll find out what I mean)
8. No, no one plays Animal Crossing: Wild World anymore...
9. In the event of a natural disaster, you may not under any circumstances use Psychonaut as a floatation device.
10. There was, is and will never be a Dopefish.
92. Jeremy is an omnipresent being, he knows when you are sleeping and knows when you're awake, he knows when you're spammin', lurkin', and trolling, so be good for pete's sake. (He's also Santa)
11. Yes Andy and I are a couple. Don't ask about it.
12. Don't spam, even though everyone else does.
13. Degrassi was never a popular show.
14. Go ahead and spam.
15. Posting images on this forum is punishable by death and permabanning.

17. There is no 7th not rule/not guideline in this list and if you post about you will probably be banned, maybe.
18. Jeremy is a robot, he doesn't find jokes funny and will therefore squeeze your head off with his bare hands if you attempt to delve into a topic of hilarity.

20. Just read the ads on the site, they are evil, and clicking them will make your computer assplode.
21. Keep your head low, Jeremy and the admins ip-ban one random person each day. Stay on their good side.
22. OJ swears alot, avoid those threads.
23. If your thread is taken off the "Recents posts list" consider it dead.
24. Threads like this are typically nuked, not because they are funny, but because they contain clever humor and to an extent, thought processing.
25. Based on the theory presented in #24, you can post a thread about anything, but if it requires any strain of thought to respond no one will except for: Rawburt, AndyB, *Trevor, Pally (Because she follows *trevor everywhere), Oddcrazyme, Josh, and Sporge.
26. Members are not who their names imply, they have a much darker, cruel past. READ THE DAMNED ARCHIVES SON!!!!
27. Postcount means everything.
28. There is no cow level.
29. If there are more symbols in a thread title than letters, don't read it.
30. The user named "Professor Gallows", is actually never online and is always AFK helping starving kids in Europe, mainly in England
31. Casual swearing is never ok. It can slip once in awhile, but keep it classy.
32. Animal Crossing Community's members are evil, heartless demonspawn from Fabio's darkest nightmares. For his sake come here instead.
33. Feel free to post in the guides and research section, just make sure you know what the hell you're talking about.
34. Most importantly of all... you will never have as many posts as Baconboy, be as popular as *trevor, as enthusiastic about gaming as Andy, as talented as Josh, as cruel as Miranda, as power hungry as Jeremy, as annoying as [nook], as semi-relevant as [nook], as old as me (HellsingRunner), as funny as psychonaut, as cool as Sporge, or as generally awesome as Oddcrazyme.
35. No backseat moderating, this includes mods.
36. In the event that I am murdered over this list by Pally and OJ: Trevor gets my room, Andy get my video games, and I would like to be buried with my computer.
37. Do not post pornographic or other questionable images on the forums. PM them to me instead.
38. Quit complaining about the new not old the not being the Bell Tree that isn't new. Jeremy has access to a satellite laser system and has already blown up the towns that Bacon Boy, nic, Ladyrohan, and coffeebean live in. Please, think ahead before complaining.
39. Before you ask a stupid question and get a narcissistic answer, use google first, then ask it here.
40. You'll find it rather difficult to find avid ACCF gamers on this forum, few still play. Don't expect to get the more long term members to play with you as most have moved on.
41. I will personally murder anyone who Role-Plays on the forum, in post form or otherwise.

If I may jump off topic for a moment... To all returning members it's been fun throughout the year I've been here, I've tended to do more reading than I have posting but regardless I feel as though the community here is strong. I look forward to seeing where this forum goes.
