i agree with cup of noodles (btw, interesting sig!). nobody likes it when people insult them for doing something they love. even if the "reality" of this reality show isnt really there.

I only liked the early seasons. It was really fun when it was kind of a grass-roots thing in the first season! I remember watching it faithfully every year, and the people I voted for usually went early lol. It went to crap after the original judges left, and I haven’t had any interest in it since.
After Paula left is when it started to decline for many people. I thought Season 9 was terrible, but I thought Seasons 10 and 11 were really good, especially Season 11 which had an incredibly talented group of contestants.
That was a good season to end on!I haven't been watching this since DavidvsDavid Finale.

I do recall them having a Canadian and Australian Idol as well.
