Here are some of my Animal Crossing amigurumi projects!
I made Bunnie first because she has been in my town, Teacup, from the start. I quickly adored her personality - she said such cute things and reacted in such adorable ways. I also keep rabbits as pets because they're fantastic, so I have a bias.
I had trouble with her shirt, so it ended up being very plain in the end. Her arms also look odd. D:
Next, I made Coco. I've never had her as a villager nor know much about her, but from a crocheting point of view, doing the pottery-style ridges looked like they might be a fun challenge. They ended up too subtle, so I want to try her again with a new method I've thought of. Coco is much smaller than Bunnie. Several inches shorter.
Then I thought, "Why not make some bell bags scaled to size?" You can see one in the picture above, but I went a bit crazy after that...
I've made a fourth one as a Christmas present for my brother, too. I'm rather addicted. (One can never have too many bells!)
I have plans to make more villagers down the road. I'm fond of Nan (loved her in my CF game) and Tia*, so I eventually want to try those two.
*Tia was required because of her species and her catchphrase! My town's name is "Teacup", which is a play off TEACB, the initials of an original horror story I wrote, called The Elephants Always Come Back. I've been calling it "Teacup" for years and plan to make a horror dream town once I finish setting it up. She'll be difficult to crochet, though, maybe? :') But hey, a challenge!
