An Animal Crossing-themed card album as well as protective sleeves are up for pre-order on AmiAmi with prices of ?640 (roughly $5.30) and ?410 (roughly $3.35), respectively. The album holds 20 cards according to the description, and the protective sleeves come in sets of three, which justifies the low price. Both items will be released late next month.

Is anyone planning on collecting the cards now that there are more aesthetically pleasing methods of collecting cards? It's unfortunate that the album fits such a low amount of cards, but I'd imagine more designs would come out so you can display albums with different cover art.

I don't know if I'm going to collect cards yet, but if I were I'd just go to my local store and buy a regular card album, and either leave it blank, or decorate it to be Animal Crossing themed. This would be a good idea but since it holds such a low amount I really don't see the point in it - unless you're a hardcore collector ofc.

I CALLED IT. I SO CALLED IT! (I think my thread about this is buried now but...) YAY. :D

Personally, I think the album is too small as well. Then again its a mini album.

I'm not sure if I will get an album for the cards. I'll likely stick them in a small box with some protective sleeves I have had for ages.

I'm going to stick one set of the cards in a card folder (the doubles will be displayed in poster frames :3) they have plenty of cheap card folders on eBay, the one I'm planning on getting can hold 396 cards back to back and the folder itself has an open sleeve front and back so you can use your own front and back covers :D

Oh wow, those are pretty cool! I'm interested to see if there will be an equivalent for NA/EU, since the sleeves have a lot of Japanese writing on them.

I'm pretty sure that's the wrapper advertising what the cards are about. For example, one of them seems to be promoting protection from UV rays or something
