Amiibo Move-IN glitch???

Hi everyone,

1. I invited Francine to my village and she agree forcing cyd out
2. next day I found a plot of land that just says "plot available"
3. I was worried it wasnt francine so i scanned her card again and got her saying "hey girl, i'm moving in right now"
4. next day someone moved in and it was ANGUS?

Wtf? What's going on....

The game is a current glitchy mess. I wouldn’t recommend using Amiibos at all at the moment.

It seems all these glitches seem to stem from forcing a villager OUT with an amiibo. I scanned Chief in just fine but he was my 8th so I didnt need to force anyone out.

Yea this is a big problem for many people, I scanned in my Flora amiibo to kick out Quillson and nothing bad happened...

i just scanned flurry in to kick out melba so we will see tomorrow... i might just time travel later in the evening to see what happens

oh crap, maybe the glitch stemmed from you scanning her in again after she'd agreed to move in? I got an empty plot the day before my marshal amiibo moved in (I kicked out cesar for him) but I assumed that's just how it works so I didn't bother scanning him in again to check and he arrived fine the next day

I wish these amiibo glitches would go away :( I just wanna trade my amiibo villagers to people and this glitch minefield is making it impossible

Wow i cant believe she lied to you and said she would move in ha!
So sorry about this! it seems like inviting villagers is a hit or literal mess right now. I would advice against forcing them out or inviting ones that were forced out of another island until a patch comes out or something. Moving them into an already available spot might be the safest way.

I guess you're right. I'll try it again to see what happens, but if it happens again, I won't be trying anymore. It took 4 days for her to move in only for annoying Angus to move in!!!

Do you happen to know if any of the people you visited or who visited you had Angus move out recently for them? Or have you been doing a lot of trades so it's impossible to keep track?

I thought the patch addressed the amiibo glitch?
Unless they had a different glitch in mind?
