Amiibo support?

Hey guys anyone know if NH will support the same amiibos that new leaf had? Also will it have the same animals?

Yup, I think they all work except for the special ones (Zelda amiibos, Hello Kitty cards)

^^ like they said, all amiibos should work minus the amiibo figure ones and the sanrio villagers - all of the WA amiibos, series 1-4 amiibo cards and animal crossing figure amiibos should be compatible

yup! from what we know/have seen, they'll work exactly the same way! perhaps with some more features we don't know about yet?

you can. based on what the direct shows, once you have the campsite built, the villager you scanned will show up there and you can invite them to live on your island - idk if it’d be possible before you have the campsite built or how it’d work otherwise
