I know it may seems a bit strange, but I wonder what may happens if I will invite to my camp (via Amiibo) same villager I already have.
Did anyone tried this?

If I remember correctly, the villager answers but says he's already on your island.

I tried to invite a villager through amiibo once and it said that they’re too busy to answer or something because as it turns out they’re were in the que to come to my Island through the void. I’m sure it would be something similar to that. Or they just say they’re already on your Island as Magus stated. Either way, I do know that it’s not possible based on that experience alone.

They would just say that they like the accept but declines as they're already living and wouldn't see a reason to camp if they already live there.

This has been patched to where you now can invite villagers to your campsite if they're in your que.
