I'm so gosh dang annoyed that they made it so amiibo card call in villagers are less likely to ping you to move out than regular villagers are. I get it I get it, since I personally wanted that specific villager to move in, then obviously I'll be less inclined to let them leave. But listen, I have their card, so if they do move out I can just bring them back in...

My town currently consists of 7 amiibo call ins and 3 regular villagers. I want to move out one of my 7 amiibo call ins because I have someone else offering me one of my dreamies, but I don't have room. 2 of my regular villagers are dreamies while 1 is a villager i'm holding for a friend. I've been TT'ing for 3 days now (irl, almost 3 months in game time) and about 18 hours all up. Back to back two of my regular villagers keep pinging me to move, while my amiibos say nuttin... Getting annoyed :/

I doubt they'll ever change this, but I wish it wasn't like this in the first place. Just a way to force you to buy new cards (Like I just did, today, yikes)

Anyone got any ideas on how to kick out my amiibo villagers? I'm so frustrated.

Sorry that it's been so hard for you to move out the amiibo villagers. I agree that they should ping to move more often! I'm not even sure if they can move out honestly, I don't think I've ever had any of my amiibo villagers ask to move at all + haven't heard from anyone else about them moving either. I agree that it kinda forces people to buy new cards, which is super inconvenient now that they aren't really being sold anywhere (at least not around me). Unfortunately, I don't see them updating acnl again any time soon since they're probably working on a switch game.

I wish I had some advice to give about this, but I haven't ever had any luck with moving them out either so I'm not sure what I can tell you. Normally you would befriend villagers to get them to move, but maybe if you harass an amiibo villager then they'll want to move out more and it could override the normal process for them. I'm not really sure though honestly ;;

Good luck trying to get one out!

Well, the only thing I can think of is just let your non amiibo villagers move out. If you have a town of all amiibo villagers they ping at random. Befriending the villagers seems to make them ping you more often. I know it's hard to let villagers go, especially since they're dreamies because you'll have to do the 16 villager cycle to get them back. It's either that or buy cards because they will not ping you, I know from experience. If you have a mix of amiibo and non amiibo the amiibo will never ping or it's a one in million chance they will. I'm sorry you're in such a sucky situation!
