Amiibos card question.

Ok, so I just got a bunch of NPC’s cards, mini, for the game. So there are 2 Isabelle cards, one is in her warm season outfit, the other is her cold weather outfit, meaning the pictures on the cards. I scanned both at Harvey’s. Both gave made Isabelle show up in her warm season outfit. I reached out to the seller and they said it depends on the island. Can anyone enlighten me, am I missing something?

Even though there are various Isabelle amiibo cards over the different series, no matter which card you scan, Isabelle will always show up in the outfit corresponding to the current season on your island.

I'm sure that's not what you were hoping for, so I'm sorry to say! It would be nice to be able to scan her in all of her various outfits.

OP, for the record I have a complete authentic AC amiibo set(cards+figures). I tested this and it depends on the series.
For series 1-4+all figures, Isabelle will show up in her outfit based on the season. For series 5 though, Isabelle should show up in the outfit shown on the card, no matter the season. I don't think there are any other implications this has in the game, it could be some unlockables in HHP but probably not, idk. I have pics if you need them. If you were supposed to get series 5 customs, talk to the seller and get Isabelle's winter outfit custom card if you care to or get maybe a refund.

There is no way to change Isabelle's outfit because whenever you scan her summer or winter outfit she will always wear it. So if that was something you were hoping for then I'm sorry to say that its not possible.

Ok, now here is the big question, I am able to scan the cards into my New Leaf game, and they both gave me the summer outfit as well. Does the rules still apply there.

Well no in New Horizons if you scan Isabelle she will wear whatever outfit she has on that is related to the one she is wearing on the card. So if you wanted to let her be in different outfits then you need to have a different Isabelle card where she is wearing different outfits.

That is the thing. Both cards are different outfits she has in New Horizons. One is her summer outfit and the other her winter outfit. But when I scan them both into New Leaf they have her in her summer outfit, just like if I scan her into New Horizons. Its not a big deal, but I want to know if I need to get a replacement for the winter outfit card.

Yes, OP you should get a replacement, if you want her winter outfit. Since you have custom cards it sounds like the maker used her summer amiibo data, and put the winter face on the custom card without realizing that each amiibo card has slightly different data.

If that is the case I have a suscipous feeling it might've been a scam if the seller knew about this before selling it.

I sent another messenger to the seller, I want them to send a replacement, but don't know how to ask, because as said, these are mini cards, not offical. If I can't get winter outfit, then I guess I will find another way to get it, but I'm not in that much of a rush. I'm just happy getting the ones I did get, 48 cards, 24 villagers, 24 npc's for less then $20 on amazon.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was true, but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, since Isabelle has at least one card in all series(except WA) and some of them do share data.

Yes. I scanned both of Isabelle's series 5 cards at Harv's, so I can show you what you're supposed to get with a summer and winter outfit. If you're only getting the summer outfit with both cards, it means that the card shown with the winter outfit has the wrong data.

Oh, ok. Well I'll wait to see what the seller says. I'm not asking for a new one, yet. I want to see what they say to the fact they are meant to have different data. If nothing else, I found someone on etsy who I can buy a card from for $5, if I have to.

oh, ok. With Tom nook I have his official amiibo, as well as the mini card. So Yeah, I have never paid attention when scanning the amiibo for him.
