An Idea for Future Games

When you are developing a town it really sucks when a villager plots there house in the middle of your path. And the only way to stop the risk of that happening is plot resetting. So I came up with ad idea and it is called...VILLAGER APARTMENTS. Villager apartments is where all the villagers and special characters in your town live. So you can visit special characters after their shops close. The "VA" will be at a random spot in everyone's town when you start up the game. Villagers will still wander outside of course but occasionally you may see them in the lobby of the apartment.

I've actually had this idea for a long time and I finally decided to share it. I gladly appreciate any feedback whether it is negative or positive. I don't think that Nintendo add it but I still think it is a cool idea.

truthfully i dont really like the idea, i dont mind the randomness of villagers moving in, if anything they could bring back the signs xD

I'm not a huge fan of it because I like having the houses scattered out and be houses, I don't think having an apartment would be as relaxing and aesthetically pleasing (like idk, if I went into the apartments it would be a huge event but sometimes I'm just strolling around not planning to visit anyone and then I'll see Dotty is home and stroll by and it's very relaxed and casual). Maybe a better idea would be to have it set so that villagers can't set up their plots on paths and maybe be allowed to pick no-move zones or something?

I don't really like this idea I like it when villager place house diffrent parts of your town plus I hope they bring back the signs to stop villagers from putting there house where they want.

I think that the next game should have three parts to the town(city, town, and island) and you could have like maybe 5 or 10 villagers live in each part of it.

I have a similar idea, I still want villagers in town (but where we get to pick the plots they can set to) but in town there would be a Hotel (like in HHD) Where villagers can come and visit (like the campsite) and you can convince them to move in from there, since it takes a while to move someone out you could convince them to stay longer (the minimum would be a week or so) and then convince them to move in when there is space. While they visit they can go to your stores on main street as well as visit in the town and talk to your villagers and stuff, this would also be where other people's "voided" villagers would go instead of just moving right into your town. Also to visit the NPC people they would have apartments above their stores, kind of like how above the Able's is the hair place, instead that would be their apartment and you could go visit them when they're closed by going up the stairs.

Like for instance in the hotel you'd go to visit the people, or see them walking around town and it'd be like

Villager: This place is so nice, I wish I didn't have to go back home on the 5th!"
You: >Well it was nice of you to visit.

I think it would be good as an option to add in when selecting the map. I can see the appeal in it, especially for people who get all into designing their towns. But personally, I like villagers having their own homes. And I like plot resetting to make the home work with my town.

I have an idea too. Let us design PANTS. We can make shirts, dresses, and hats. Why not pants? I like the idea of being able to design the whole outfit.
