I wrote this poem a while back and just found it on my laptop. I thought I'd share it here. Feedback would be nice. Also would love to hear any interpretations. Thanks!~

ANGLES

Depending on the angle
Hell becomes tranquil
Perspective turns the tables
Devils become angels

A point of view
Is guaranteed to skew
Turns happy to blue
Turns old to new

What?s wrong is right
In a different light
How can we trust sight
When one?s black is another?s white

What you see
Is not the same to me
What causes you to flee
May tickle me with glee

Is it that hard to grasp
That we don?t share the same looking glass?

Could we ever understand
Why your nightmare is my wonderland?

Their concrete is my abstract
My rumor is their fact
Their trash is my shiny treasure
And my horror?s, to my horror, their pleasure

Choose a day
To change your gaze
And see how your view strays
From yesterday?s

It?s quite a game changer
When looking at a stranger
To know that what they see
Is not the same as thee

Stare into the mirror
Get a little nearer
Til your vision?s clearer
And a new image appears

Your perspective is reflective of your objective
Can?t be positive if you?re always focused on the negatives
If your heads always down, how will you ever get up
If your glass is half empty, then you?ll never have enough

Depending on the angle
Hell becomes tranquil
Perspective turns the tables
Devils become angels
