I literally got the ISO for AC yesterday and today Anicotti told me she wanted to move out. Me being me, I said yes, and I dunno when or how long it takes for a villager in the first game to move out. But seriously, I just got the game started yesterday and she moves out already? Talk about stuck up lol

If you started a new town, she won't move for a while until you have 15 villagers. They sometimes say stuff like "someday I'll move" but it's just a way for the game to tell you that villagers are not permanent. In fact, in Population Growing they don't give you any warning or way to stop them form moving at all, all is fine and then you load one day and they're gone. There's no way to prevent it.

Ah okay, so she won't move just yet. But 15 villagers? That's a ton of craziness... lol I never played AC:pG until now, but seeing how far the series has come, it's so beautiful.

Honestly you don't even really have to worry about Anicotti moving out. From my experience, the only thing that will get your starting villagers to move away is to travel to another town. In fact your first 13 villagers are pretty much permanent if you don't travel anywhere. The 14th and 15th slots will be a revolving door of villagers though. If someone moves into your town like that, they will move and there's no way to really stop them.

Just a friendly tip: if you do not want your villagers moving out, do not travel to other towns. If you do that, one of them will move to that town. If you don't like your villagers very much though, travelling to other towns is a good way to get rid of them.

Luckily I don't have any data stored in any other emulated Memory Card, I only have Slot A and that's it, really. Cookie moved in already as my seventh villager, can't wait to see 15 villagers in the town of Morioh. Plus I'm loving AC:pG so much because I noticed how nostalgic it looked. I will admit that I was only 2 years old when the first game released (I was born in 2000, so I'm a millennium baby, yay!), so I kinda missed out on the Animal Crossing series as I grew up until I got New Leaf.

I'm not so sure about the 13 villagers being permanent though, I only have 4 of my original 15 (Gwen, Filbert, Cheri and Ricky), all the others have moved away and my town will be one year old soon. :)
Just don't get too attached to anyone, just in case.

Also, I have never traveled to other towns as I play on emulator x) (wish I could though... and the island, I'll never get to go...)

I might try and do a second town with Memory Card Slot B but I dunno how to do it via Dolphin Emulator.
