Animal Crossing: City Folk Preview

"Though upwards to four players can interact with each other online, WiiSpeak allows only two rooms to communicate. The people not participating can hear everything that the two players are discussing by listening to their televisions."

Whatttt, this is news to me... Are you sure this is true.... o_0

I swear they mentioned that in the video.
I could be mistaken though.
If it's wrong though, I'll get somebody to edit it.

Yeah, that seems strange that only two of the 4 rooms can talk, but it makes sense.

I'm with you guys I have never heard about only two rooms being able to communicate I'd rather all four be able to talk.

Um... all four rooms can talk, all four were talking in the very first video they showed o_O

Maybe I'm wrong.
I'll try to find the press release I got some of this information from.
I think it was on Nintendo's Online Press Site under the games description.

Edit: I think the room to room part confused me.
I'll let somebody know so that they can edit it.

If this is true, I'd like to know how The Conduit will have up to 16 players.... I'm willing to bet this info is false :p And I've also seen the slingshot in a video, which confirms it's in, and you failed to include such new aspects such as being able to design the back, front and sleeves of your shirt and match your shoe color with your clothing. I think it could have been a more informative preview with more research into the older games and this game. Check out TBT's Youtube Channel and you would have even more info to make a better preview. That's my opinion anyway.

After I finished the preview, I discovered a bunch of info.
The preview couldn't be no longer then 1800 words(it was 1737 before) so I didn't bother adding anything else.
This preview was done on Wednesday, July 16th.

-Saw the video on the museum this morning.
-Saw the slingshot today as well.
-I contacted somebody to fix the WiiSpeak part.
-I thought I mentioned the shirt part.

Edit: Found my info sheet.
The shirt part was on it but I never included it.

Yeah, I understand maybe all the info wasn't out there, but there's some parts you definitely should have put in, which could have emphasized more of the changes rather than repeating what's returning. And there were definitely videos concerning WiiSpeak and such before the article was finished. But yeah, overall it was a good read, just lacking in some info and depth.

Yep, this is wrong.

Room-to-room does not imply only 1-1. It means that everyone in said room will be able to talk to others playing... and hear others, too.

There are 4 players possible, but that doesn't mean only four people can talk. It's basically just using a microphone that picks up sound from the entire room... whether that's superior to a headset, we'll have to see.

I honestly think I spent to much time on the history of the series.
I tried to write the preview so that newcomers to the series could understand what the game is about whether than what is new.

Yeah I'm not looking forward to this room on room action... I don't care what your friends have to say... there's usually a reason I'm talking to one person. >.>

Oh well, I'll be in an apartment. Everyone can put up with my room mates swearing at each other while I'm trying to sell you a shirt.
