Animal crossing for the Atari?

surely they cant do time base events, but considering if you can dumb the came down to simply building your home to the more gold you get by selling and buying fruit and furniture (granted if you can hold 8 items at a time)...

Then again, i'm probably to old fashioned. -_-; It'll probably end up like Raiders of the Lost Ark, where ya have to use two atari control sticks to control the stupid game...

On Atari I think it wouldnt be possible to dumb the game down enough.

Maybe on the NES with save features like in Zelda.

Yea, i could see that happening.

Wonder who'd have the skill enough to do that though? Would anyone even play it? XD

Ya know, now that I think about it, if you do dumb animal crossing to the NES, it would end up like harvest moon....
 
You could make something similar:
Shake trees and collect bells and furniture for points and avoid bees that come out of trees and the sides of the screen.
 
I imagine someone out there could make an animal crossing-like game for NES, and release it as a ROM. If it was out there, I'd download it and play it on my emulator I guess.

But, then again, why?
