Ok so I was just thinking about how excited I was when I first got ACCF... and now... it isn't as fun as it originally was. I know all games get boring, and that is why I probably won't be playing it as much... It kinda hurts to say it [lol] but still, I wish it was exciting as it was the day I got it. I know that if I take a little break I will come back to it.... However, if I quit altogether and come back to it, then I will most definently restart. It feels wierd not playing for 3 months or so and then coming back to an old town...
Anyway, I hope I don't quit altogether, because I've worked hard on my town, yet it is beginning to get boring, which brings me to mention something I've noticed. Several people have recently restarted their towns, and I can probably guess why. It is most likey because they are getting bored and would like something new, so a new town fits....
At least, that was how I felt before. Anyway, what I'm saying is, is that I may not be on ACCF as much as I have recently been... [especially when The Sims 3 comes out, then I'll be making videos for Youtube once again]....

I think it may just be the season, there isn't much to do on winter in CF.
Yes, several other people have mentioned that as well. It could be very true, but still, I will probably go do something else right now...
Actually, I think another reason I am getting bored of ACCF is because I have made myself thay way. over Christmas break I would play for like 10 hours a day and since then I've played A LOT!!! T_T... Which brings me to say, it may be my fault that I've worn the game out. It's like.... pants... you wear them a whole lot and they begin to wear down... or like the grass in accf... you run on it to much and it wears and tears.... I've played ACCF too much, and now the fun and excitement is wearing away...

Well, at least in spring and summer we can actually fish and catch bugs XD

But wifi (if it can ever stay up for more then 5 hours XD) is another thing I find keeps the game going, because people will find anything to do on there, from foot races to just talking and fooling around, but it could just be getting boring because no one's on too much during weekdays because of school, work, homework etc. But it could be some people, as you said, think they've done everything and are getting sick of it, the lack of wifi happeneing due to school, work, connection errors etc or just the season, however I'm always finding something new to do, so maybe it's just some people...

Anyway, I got school now, see you in around 6 hours XD

I was so excited when I first got City Folk, because it is starting brand new. There were so many customizable options and everything! But now, I have finished paying/decorating my house, my town is nearly completed with the fruit orchard and pattern paths, and my character's look is already determined. The only thing that keeps me hooked every day is Wi-Fi.....which seems to have less people than it used to have...

That's exactly how I am, but I still have a lot of work to do in my town, although it's a bummer how 19 cedar trees all died, leaving only 3 surviving...

You guys basically ran through the game and now have nothing to do. I remember reading posts like "I'm going to go slow on this one, make it last longer." "I'm going to take my time with my bills." , when the game first came out.

Wifi will keep the game going :D But when you time travel and hack, you get all the game valuables, get rich, and lose all game goals.

^^ i agree with this. i think a lot of people get bored of the game because the first week they get it they have to TT to all the holidays and just do everything right away. I think to really enjoy animal crossing you have to take it day by day and slow down because it is not suppose to be a fast paced game.

yah but I don't time travel...

To me, this is no one of those games you can just play constantly everyday. In several weeks, I will probably do what i did on animal crossing wild world, take a several month break, becase I know when i come back to it, it will seem like a new game. IN wild world i quit playing for like 6 months, and when I came back to playing it, it felt like a new game and I ended up playing it like every day of summer break. I thik it may be a good Idea for everyone to take a break soon so the game doesn't get too boring, and then come back to it later and It will be like a new game.

Oh okay I didn't know if you time traveled or not ... but sometimes when people do TT you can get bored of the game if you have done everything. I am not saying that everyone that TTs gets bored of the game, I have TTed before but only for a couple of days.

That is probably what I'll do. I'll probably play Mario or Zelda.. I'm just worried that my wii may be messed up from falling 2 feet or so, but it seems to work fine, thanks to advancements in new game technology.... unlike the n64 where just if you remove the game cartridge it messes up or if you stomp your feet it freezes...
Anyway, I'll probably soon not be playing the game as much, from 5 hours to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 and then... maybe I'll barely play ACCF for awhile..

I can say that time travelling has ruined my game expirience before.... Now, what Zelda game should I play.... Ocarina AGAIN??

I don't think it matters if you time travel or hack, because i do those things and I have been playing accf since it came out and im only a LITTLE bit bored of it. I think I can prob. play it alot until Feb. 20th (That is the day Sims 3 comes out!!!!!!!!!!!!)
