I've ordered this from eBay and I CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT!
I love Wild World and more so City Folk so I can't wait to play it!

Do any of you guys have it?
If so what's so ''different'' about it to other animal crossings?

umm well lets just say i would suggest sticking to city folk because this 1 isnt as customizable but u get to play arcade games from the arcade funrinture u buy though:0

In the Gamecube version you have to go talk to a gyroid that sits outside of your house rather than clicking on a button where ever you are and saving. Acres actually split up into squares, and they kind of load when you try to walk into them. Visiting towns is a pain in the ass and you have to go by train. There are a lot more bells: everything you sell gets you more bells compared to Wild World and City Folk, I think..

There was also a "skip" of awesome characters in the makings of all three animal crossings. In the first one, you have all of the awesome special visitors like Wisp and etc, in Wild World you don't have Wisp and I think a few more, but then they're all brought back into City Folk. So you don't need to worry about that.

About Traveling:
Animal Crossing has a traveling system that allows one character to visit a friend's village. This system requires an additional memory card with Animal Crossing game data, and three blocks of memory to save "travel data". Players go to the train station and tell Porter they want to take a trip. The train will arrive and they board it. This saves "travel data" on the other memory card. Players then arrive at the other town. If a player turns off the console in another town or while they are on the train, the next day the player's eyes will be missing and will look black (which is called a "missing face"), and all the player's items in their pockets (including their bells) will be gone. Resetti will not come.
I'm not sure if I can rely on that last part, for I have never tried.

I don't think you should go back to the original AC, because now that two new ACs have came out, it will be hard to appreciate the first one.

The only thing The gamecube has over city folk is the ability to play old nintendo games as furniture otherwise I suggest just sticking with City Folk.

The graphics are bad (because it was originally for the N64 in Japan only),
You can use a code system to get any item you want from Tom Nook,
Weeds grow uncontrollably,
The world is cut into Acres and you have to scroll through every screen,
You can get some NES Console games,
Instead of a Flag on your house when you beat the game, you get a Gold Statue of yourself,
There's a Train instead of a Bus,
The house debt costs more,
The basement is the largest house in the game,
You can hook up your Gameboy Advanced and go to a deserted Island from Kapp'n the Sailor( the dock at the ocean),
You get your own personal Gyroid in the front of your house where you can store things and set a message,
NO ONLINE CAPABILITY.

I can't remeber anymore things, xD that's what i remember from it.

I dont really like the GC one.... I've had it for a long time....
The only thing I do on it is play the NES games. xP

Leagolas1 WOW thats comin from a person who always is playing WildWorld instead of Cityfolk

not always and Wild World founded the rolling log and i play City Folk i just don't have Wi-Fi fo Wii ;)

Gamecube version is the best one!

Best music,
Better holidays, and more.

I can't think of more right now, but I can assure you, you might have a little more fun playing it than Wild World or City Folk.

All that and there is no Shampoodle store, no hair, able sisters don't sell clothes, no town hall, there is a post office, and a dump....

I do like the dump instead of lost and found or recycle
