Hello everyone! Welcome to my fanfic story! Its the story about me, Kenneth, trying to adjust to a new life & my role as mayor of the village known as Shadic(my future town when new leaf comes to america anyway)!

CHAPTER 1: The New Kid In Town: Prolouge

Today was a very special day for me. Today was the day I'd leave my old home in Denver, Colorado & start my new life in some village called Shadic or something! Honestly though, I'm kinda nervous when it comes to meeting new people. I mean I can walk up to just about anyone & say hello, but I get really nervous afterwards because I get worried that they might think I'm weird or crazy. But this time, I know I can make friends & (hopefully) not emberass myself in the process!

CHAPTER 1: The New Kid In Town Part 1:

As I looked out the train window, I tried to imagine what Shadic would be like. What kind've people live there? Are they happy or sad? Did they like jokes? What did they do for fun? All these questions were popping in my head, until suddenly, a black & white cat had sat in front of me & began calling out to me.

???: Hello? Hellooooo? Anyone there? ...YO! KID! ARE YOU OKAY?!?!

Me: Huh? Oh. Sorry. I-I was just thinking about something...

???: Oh! I didn't mean to bother you! My bad. I'm Rover! What's your name?

Me: I'm Kenneth. Nice to meet you Rover.

Rover: Nice to meet ya, Kenneth! So. Where ya headed?

Me: Shadic.

Rover: Shadic huh? Cool! I have a few maps here with me. Can you show me what Shadic looks like?

Rover pulled out a bunch of maps & held them in front of me.

Me: Ummmmm...How can I "show you" what Shadic looks like...If I haven't even seen it first?

Rover:...I, uh...I-I gotta go now! Nice meeting ya!

The weird black & white cat suddenly left his seat & ran to the next train car.

Me: Oooooookaaaay...That was interesting.

As I tried to put together what just happened, the conducter had made an announcement on the loudspeaker.

Porter: Attention all passengers, We are now entering Shadic. Prepare for departure. I repeat. We are now entering Shadic. Prepare for departure.

Me: Well, my new life is about to begin! ...OH CRAP, I'M SO NERVOUS RIGHT NOW! I'M FREAKING OUT!!! Calm down Kenneth. Calm. Down. Everything's going to be okay.

A minute later, the train finally pulled into the station.

I was about to step off the train until...

Rover: WAITAMINUTE!!! STOP!!! KENNETH!!

Rover had pounced on my back & I ended up falling on my face!

Me: OW! WHAT THE HECK ROVER?!?!

Rover: Sorry dude! But I used someone's laptop to use Google Earth to look for a layout of Shadic! I think I have the town map gor it!

Me: Oh. Ok, thats great. I guess. Now wll you get off of me please?

Rover: Oh. Right. Sorry.

Once I was back on my feet, I was about to leave to the station until Rover grabbed my arm.

Me: What now?!?!

Rover: Its dangerous to go alone! Here, take this with you!

He gave me a map of Shadic.

Me: Um, thanks...

Rover:Your welcome! Enjoy your life in Shadic!

Then Rover got back on the train before it pulled out of the station.

Me: Anyway...Its time for me to start my new life!

Chapter 1: The New Kid in Town:Finale

As I walked out the.train station, I was suddenly greeted by 4 strange aninmals...a deer girl, an eagle with a knight's helmet, a blue kangaroo, & a yellow shizu.

Shizue: Oh, Hello there! Welcome to Shadic! I am Shizue!

Doreimi: Hi there! I'm Doreimi!

Sterling: Hey new dude! I'm Sterling! What's shakin?

Mike: Hey there mate. I'm Mike!

All of.them together: WELCOME TO SHADIC!

Me: W-Wow. That's quite a greeting! I'm Kenneth. Nice to meet you.

Shizue: And it's nice.to meet you, Kenneth! Would you like to meet the rest of the villagers?

Me: S-Sure!

Shizue: Great! Lets get going! To Town Hall!

So Shizue & the.others had escorted me to town hall. When we arrived, I noticed a conversation happening between a red squirrel girl, a big grey bear, & a fat, short orange hamster. I think they were talking about me...

Hamsuke: So that's the new guy?

Pecan: Ummm, obviously. As long as he doesn't get in my way, we'll get along just fine.

Curt: The world doesn't revolve around you, Pecan.

Pecan: Did I ASK for your opinion, Curt? The answer is NO, btw.

Hamsuke: Pecan, why are you so mean?

Pecan: SHUT. UP. Go run in a wheel or something. You need the exercise, chubbster.

Hamsuke looked at his belly with ters in his eyes...

Hamsuke: I'm... chubby? *sniff*

Curt: Pecan! Stop acting like you run the place & apologize to Hamsuke! You have no right to judge!

Pecan: HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME THAT WAY!?!?!

Shizue: Ummmm, execuse us everyone.

The other 3 villages her stopped & looked at us.

Shizue: I'd like to introduce you to our new resident, Kenneth!

Me: H-Hi there.

Hamsuke had dried up his tears & put on a smile.

Hamsuke: Hi there! I'm Hamsuke!

Curt: Hey squirt. I'm Curt.

Pecan: AND I'M PECAN. Stay out of my way, & we'll be okay. Got it?

Sterling: Hoo boy. There she goes again...

Pecan: STUFF IT, BIRDBRAIN!

Curt: TAKE YOUR OWN ADVISE, PECAN!

Doreimi: EVERYONE! STOP YELLING, PLEASE!

Mike: QUIET! ALL OF YOU!

Hamsuke: I'M NOT CHUBBY!

Everyon had stopped & looked at Hamsuke for a second, then went back to arguing.

Me: Is it ALWAYS like this?

Shizue: You have no idea...Anyway, lets go to Tom Nook & see if we can find a place for you to live!

Me: Ok.

So Shizue & I left town hall & headed for the real estate place while the villagers were still fighting...

CHAPTER 2: Meet My Brother (Don't Call Me That Name!)

As Shizue & I got closer to the shopping district, there was a strange brown dog who looked like Shizue was waving at us & yelling something

???: Heeeeeey! Isabelle! Isabelle, over here!

Me: Isabelle? Hey Shizue, who is that guy? And who's Isabelle?

But when I turned & looked at her, her face had turned completely red & was filled with rage! She went from perky & happy to enraged & furious!!!

Me: U-Uuuuum? Shizue?

Shizue then suddenly went from psycho crazy back to innocent & cute in no time at all!!! What the heck?!?! Then she smiled & turned to me.

Shizue: Can you excuse me for 1 moment please, Kenneth? I'll be right back.

Before I could respond, Shizue became enraged again & then in an a second, she took off like an olympic track star!!!

Me: She's a pretty fast runner...

The mystery dog was still calling out...

???: Hey there Isabelle! Hows it going...Uh-Oh.

Shizue:KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENT!!!

Kent: Uh...UM! I Was just kidding sis!

In a matter of moments, Shizue tackled him in an instant!

Kent: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! No, Shizue! PLEASE, STOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!

There was suddenly a loud scream that was heard throughout the ENTIRE village!

Meanwhile, back at Town Hall...

Sterling: What. Was. THAT?!?!?!

Curt: That sounded like...

Doreimi: like...KENT!

Mike: I think he's in trouble!!!

Hamsuke: WE GOTTA HELP HIM! LETS GO EVERYONE!!!

In Unison: RIGHT!

Pecan: HEY! GET BACK HERE! I'M NOT DONE INSULTING YOU YET!

Back At The District...

Shizue was holding Kent by his necktie & raised a fist at her brother...

Shizue: DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!?!?! NEVER CALL ME ISABELLE EVER AGAIN!!! YOU KNOW I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THAT NAME!!!

Kent(all beat up): I-I understand sis! I WON'T DO IT AGAIN!!! I SWEAR!!!

Shizue: Good. Now get up. There's someone I'd like you to meet. Not a WORD about what happened.

Kent: Understood! NOT A WORD!

I walked up to Shizue & tapped her on the shoulder.

Me: Is everything okay Shizue?

Shizue (with a smile): OH YESH! Everything is just fine, Kenneth. I want you to meet my brother. This is Kent. Kent, this is Kenneth. He's the new resident.

I looked at Kent & saw that he had bumps & bruises all over his face. Probably from Shizue beating the living daylights out of him.

Me: Hi Kent. Nice...to meet you.

Kent: You too, Kenneth.

Me: So...What happened to your face?

Kent: OH! S-SHIZUE HAD BUMPED INTO ME WHILE TRYING TO GIVE ME A HUG! R-RIGHT SIS?!?!?

Shisue: That's right( Good. Keep quiet about everything)!

Me: Oh. Okay(You're a terrible liar)!

Shizue: Kent is in charge of the model homes, where you can look at other people's homes & whatnot.

Me: That sounds cool.

Shizue: Anyway, lets get going! We still need to find you a home, so its off to Tom Nook's Real Estate Agency!

Me: Ok. Later, Kent.

Kent: Yeah, see ya!

We continued to make our way to the real estate place. I honestly wondered why Shizue.was beating up her own brother? I geuss I should stay out of it for now...

Note from the author: I decided that I'll be adding "Micro Chapters" to the story. Their purpose is to tie up any small loose ends in a chapter(unless its for another plot line) & to hold you down until the next main chapter is posted. Its also for a little extra comedy. Now, I present to you: Micro Chapter 1: All For Nothing

Kent: Good Grief! It's a scorcher today! *pants* Maybe I should take the day off...

The Villagers: HANG ON KENT! WE'RE COMMING! HOLD ON, BUDDY!

Kent became startled by the screaming & then looked around to see where it was coming from. It was the villagers, rushing towards him & shouting...something?

When they finally reached him, they began to question him & examine him.

Sterling: Kent! Bro! What happened to your face?

Doreimi: Who did this?

Curt: WHAT HAPPENED?!?!

Kent was trying to calm down the concerned neighbors.

Kent: Whoa, Whoa! I'm fine everybody!

Hamsuke: REALLY!?!? You could've fooled me!

Pecan: So what DID happen?

Kent(embarressed): Well, you see...

Kent explained to the others about the events from the previous chapter...

Everybody: ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?

Mike: All that runnin' & screamin' for nothing. The bloke's just fine!!!

Hamsuke: YEAH! ALL THAT RUNNING!

Pecan: Trust me, you needed it.

Hamsuke: I'M NOT CHUBBY!

Pecan: Whatever.

Kent: Sorry I made you worry everyone, but I do appreciate the concern!

Kent was now beaming with happiness!

Curt: Next time Kent screams, we'll just leave him be. Agreed?

Everyone else: Agreed.

The villagers left Kent & decided to go home.
Kent: Awwwwwww. Seriously?

CHAPTER 3: Home Sweet Tent Part 1

After all the craziness that happened between "Shizue" & Kent, we finally arrived at the real estate office.

Shizue: Here we are! Tom Nook's Homes!

Me: Hmmm...The name needs a little work.

Shizue: ...I geuss so, but anyway, lets go get you a home!

Me: Alright, but I still think the name could use a little work though.

When we walked inside the office, We were greeted by a strange looking raccoon & an a blue & white otter.

Tom Nook: Hello Shizue! Oh? Who is this?

Lyle: Yeah, whose the fresh new face around here?

Shizue: Tom. Lyle. Let me introduce you to our newest resident, Kenneth!

Kenneth: U-Um, hello there.

I nervously put my hand out for a handshake

1st, Tom shook my hand

Tom Nook: Nice to meet you Kenneth! I'm Tom Nook. I'm in charge of the real estate & I also sell great interiors & mail boxes to upgrade your home with!

Lyle shook my hand next.

Lyle: & I'm Lyle! I run the Happy Home Academy. I send tips & ideas on how to improve your home & rate your home's style!

Me: Nice to meet you.

Tom Nook: So, I assume you're here to buy a home? You don't have to pay now. You take as long as you want to. But you need to pay in order to upgrade your home, ok?

Me: Really? That's sort of convenient I geuss.

Tom Nook: Indeed it is! The thing is though, You're going to have to live in this tent until I receive your first payment.

Me: A TENT?!?! What am I? A hobo?

Tom Nook: Well for now, yes. Yes you are?

Me:hmmmm. Point taken.

Tom Nook: There is an upside though! You get to pick where you get to live!

Me: Um...yea?

Tom Nook: Shall we pick out your living space now?

Me: I geuss we should.

Tom Nook: Excellent! Let's go!

Note From The Author: I'M BACK! I 'm here to bring you the latest installment of My New Leaf. Before we continue, I do have a bit of news. CHAPTER 3: Home Sweet Tent Part 2:

Shizue, Tom Nook, & I had begun our search for the perfect place to build my home. It wasn't easy. First, we looked around near the beach area.

Me: This could work. It's a nice view.

Shizue: Oh yes! It is a lovely view. I wish my home was here! Tee-Hee!

Tom Nook: Indeed! So, would you like to live here?

Before I could answer, a giant gret white shark had jumped out of the water!

In Unison: AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

While the shark was in midair, it opened it's large jaws & ate a seagull thatwaqs flying by, before diving back into the sea!

Me: Ummmm, I think we should keep looking...

Shizue & Tom Nook In Unison: AGREED!

The 3 of us ran away from that beach like a bunch of crooks trying to get away from the cops. The Next location was on the west side of the village. The area I looked at was big enough to fit between the two houses that were placed there.

Tom Nook: What about here?

Me: Hmmm. Looks okay.

Then suddenly, the inevitable happened...

Pecan: LISTEN HERE YOU BIG, FAT HONEY-EATING, OAF! KEEP YOUR TRASH OFF OF MY PROPERTY!

Curt: No, YOU LISTEN YOU POMPUS, ARROGANT, SELF-CENTERED, LOUDMOUTH! THAT'S "YOUR" GARBAGE, SO IT SHOULD STAY ON YOUR PROPERTY!

Turns out, the two houses that were in the area belonged to Pecan & Curt.

Shizue: Oh dear...

Me: Not again...

Tom Nook: Let me guess: you want to keep looking?

Me: Yeah...Let's just go.

We walked away from the "problem" area, but not witout hearing a small portion of Pecan & Curt's arguement:

Pecan: EXCCUUUUUSE ME?!?! IF ANYONE IS RUDE & OBNOXIOUS, IT'S YOU, OAF!

Curt: OH REALLY?!?!? AT LEAST I HAVE RESPECT PEOPLE'S PROPERTY & I'M NOT A LITTERER!

Pecan: *snort* You wouldn't know respect if it hit you in the face.

Curt: SAY THAT AGAIN!!! I DARE YOU!!!! COME ON!!!! SAY IT!!!
