Hi guys!!
I got Animal Crossing: New Leaf a few days ago and really sunk into it! I'm having so much fun with it already! I think I will be posting a blog about my time in my town every now and then, as it looks like that's what some people here use their blogs for! I just won't be doing it every single day, so forgive me!!!
So I started the game on a train, where this strange rabbit looking guy named Rover approached me! I told him my name was Nickole and that I was heading for Lunaria! He showed it to me on a map and wished me luck as the conductor called my stop!
As I departed the train station a group of animals greeted me with nothing but smiles!! One approached me, introducing herself as Isabelle, and said that I was the new Mayor!! WHAT?! ME? MAYOR?! Um..... ^^;;;;;; Okay I guess, I'll give it a shot!! he gave me a map of the town and bade me follow her to the Town Hall.
Once there she explained that they were looking forward to my arrival for quite some time, as the previous mayor just up and left one day, and never returned. Awww! I feel like I have to make things right and give them the town leadership they need! I will do my best!!! Isabelle smiled as she handed me a map of Lunaria and directed me to Tom Nook's, a store where I could get myself a house built by skilled craftsmen! I hurried over to Main Street and was greeted by a sprawling lane of stores and shops!! It's a girl's dream come true!!! I admired the scenery for a bit then proceed to find Tom Nook's. Once inside, Tom himself introduced himself and said to lead him where I wanted my house built, so I led him to a nice spot by the river near the train station!! I do love the sound of a steady peaceful river. This will be the perfect spot to settle down I thought to myself. Tom then setup a tent with a mailbox (LOL!) as a temporary arrangement and told me to meet him back at his office later to discuss payment....Oh boy ; ;
I returned to the Town Hall and informed Isabelle that I now had a plot of land and that my house would be built tomorrow. Wow, these craftsmen ARE skilled if they can build an entire house in only one day!!! She handed me a Town Pass Card, which acts as my Town ID. I recalled seeing a photo booth on Main Street so I returned there to get my photo taken. Say Cheese!!
I then returned to Isabelle to show her my photo. She smiled and said she was happy to see that I was starting to feel like I was fitting in since arriving in Lunaria! She then explained to me how to make the most out of living here and gave me a fishing rod! Excited to test it out I ran outside to the nearby pond and caught quite a few fish! I also picked up some seashells on the nearby beach! Returning to Isabelle to show off my catch and to give her a seashell gift, she gave me a basket of apples! Now I can start an apple orchard!!!
After leaving Town Hall, I made a round throughout town, introducing myself to all the animals! I even went to Main Street again and met Blathers and the Able Systems, as well as the Nookling Brothers! All of them were so happy to meet me, I think I am going to love living here in Lunaria! : )
