Animal Crossing on the Wii U

I heard that there's going to be an animal crossing game for the Wii U. Is its definite? If so, what do you want to see in that game?

I would like plot placement decisions, more map options and less PWP restrictions like villagers having to suggest them and the space restrictions. Also more villagers haha.

I think the Wii U is a great console for an animal crossing game because the town map and your pockets plus other stuff can be on the game pad while the rest in on the Tv.

If its a definite thing, I hope its released soon.

Well I was curious and I googled if there was gonna be a Wii U version and I saw some articles of the possibility of it happening. I've discussed it with a friend and he said yeah I know. I'm not 100% positive its happening I just wanted to post a thread to see if people looked up the same thing and know anything more about it than I do. Its not a bad idea I mean I'd buy it.

Anyone can start a rumor and saying it's possible doesn't really mean much; of course it's possible that there could be a main AC game on the Wii U. I doubt it's likely though because of the state of the Wii U. I think it's more likely to happen on Nintendo's next console whenever they release it.

I honestly hope they make the next true AC (better not be another HHD, amiibo festival) exclusive to the New 3DS. Less hardware limitations than the 3DS, better graphics (I assume).

I think the next AC game is most likely NOT going to be on the Wii U because of 2 reasons: The Nintendo Wii U did poorly in sales. Second we already have Animal Crossing Amibo Festival so that probably counts as an AC game for the Wii U.

Wii U isn't seeing another AC game, they're anticipating 800,000 Wii U's will be sold between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017, and AC would easily push that many systems alone, so forget about Wii U getting another one.

That would be so annoying for some people who have a perfectly good 3DS and then have to get another one, plus NX has more possibility to shine than New 3DS.

No, next Animal Crossing will be for NX. Not a new one for the Wii U, that console is dead after Tokyo Mirage Session #FE is released in June.
