this is my first time making anything with clay and i’ve never painted anything this small, so they’re a bit of a mess but i thought i’d post them anyway!
id love to hear any feedback/advice, especially on how to paint a bit neater. i’m planning to make some more so i’m hoping i get better with practice

these are pretty cute!! I'm sorry I don't have any real tips on painting neater but maybe since the earrings are relatively a small canvas you could try outlining with a toothpick for smaller details? but I think they're cute the way they are currently and have a charm to them c:. also i was just curious is polymer clay lightweight or does it have some sort of heft to it o:?

These are amazing!! Super adorable 🥰
And about painting on small things, I know that there are nail art tools which you can use for that. Toothpicks may also do the trick!
I believe this type of painting also takes a lot of practice to have less shaky hand, more precision etc. So don't stress it! I think they already look awesome 😊
Also, I second the question above, is polymer clay lightweight? Just out of curiosity!

these are so well made for being so tiny!!! my only tip would be to use smaller tools like toothpicks to paint if you want to improve on that, it would take a lot of patience!! another thing ive tried doing is making stencils so that i only have to do the hard work once haha

great job overall tho! love it ♡

thanks everyone!!
thanks for the advice, i’ll try using a toothpick for the details next time!

and it isn’t lightweight, it’s just normal polymer clay. i wore the marshal one for awhile and it isn’t the lightest earring, but it’s not too heavy
