Hello to all you people reading this. Namely, me and about...three others. :p

After starting up my game today, I felt a little bored of my red outfit, so I changed into something new: my combination of purple cap and tiger jacket. Until I can get my last dreamie, Rowan, in my town, I'll have to settle with being the "tiger" in this town. Checking my mail, I found a letter from Walker, saying he had a nightmare that I had left town and was never coming back. Not gonna lie, that touched me. To any of you people who have ever thought about taking a "break" from ACNL: think about your poor villagers! They miss you... Speaking of Walker, he was right nearby, and I wanted to hug my little puppy pal for reminding me how much I love this game. As I began my walk around town to water my flowers, I soon found Joan, who was selling turnips for 98 bells each. I was meaning to go back and buy some when I was finished with my other chores, but I never did.

Time for today's slice of Animalia! Here, we have a neat little part of my town I like to call my "rose rainbow". I basically lined up all the possible colors of roses in-game like a nice little rainbow. I only wish the fabled St. Patrick's Day "green roses" really existed, since green is the only color missing. Still, I love this area of town, and I'm only 2 gold and 3 blue roses away from fully finishing it (not counting my 2 blue I use for breeding)!

As you can probably see in that pic, I had a camper today: Ruby the rabbit. She's cute, but even if I didn't have a full town, I probably wouldn't have asked her to move in. She was talking about having stars in her eyes, then realized they were stars in the sky. Keep in mind this was at about 11:00 in the morning, so either she has serious problems or can see clear off into outer space...

Speaking of peppy villagers, Rosie wanted a piece of fruit. But not just any fruit: perfect fruit. I headed off to my perfect cherry trees to get her one, but upon getting there, imagine my surprise to find Phineas waiting for me! I talked to him, and he gave me the bronze Weed Hunter badge! Upon gathering up some perfect cherries, I took one back to Rosie. She loved it, and gave me a green wall clock in return. While talking to Rosie, Lolly pinged me, and gave me an exotic bed for free! That settles it...she's getting a super-awesome birthday gift. I just don't know what yet. Talking to Lolly again, she had a petition for a "Spider Relocation Service" that she wanted to get signatures for. I didn't plan on visiting any towns today, but I hate spiders as much as the next person, so I agreed to try to help Lolly out. Besides, considering the gift she gave me, it's the least I can do for her, right? My money rock today was an ore rock, and it gave me 5 rubies...appropriate, since I had Ruby camping earlier.

On my way to sell all my ore, Astrid asked me to buy an armor suit off her for 320 bells. Since I thought I'd get most of that back by selling my ore, I figured what the heck? After selling my ore, new armor suit (shh, don't tell Astrid) and two perfect cherries I didn't give to Rosie, I saw that Reese was paying premium for one of them! Sure enough, I checked the sign, and perfect cherries were the featured item today at Re-Tail. I headed back to my other cherry trees and shook them, withdrew the bushel I had in storage, and sold almost all I had for a good chunk of change. I only have two perfect cherry trees in my town, but I do keep several in storage for when villagers ask for perfect fruit, and I may plant more in the future once I figure out what I want to do with the spot where Al's house is when he finally moves. But that's not until later on. Mira was all sad because Savannah commented on how "uncool" her house is. That doesn't sound like Savannah at ALL! Are you sure you aren't just hearing things, Mira? With ears like yours, you should get them checked every now and again! Regardless, Mira wanted some new furniture, and I headed up to the store, where I found an exotic lamp that I thought would match most of the astro furniture in her house. She loved it, and gave me the peacock butterfly that she replaced with the lamp.

The Fishing Tourney may be over, but fishing seemed to still be on my villagers' minds. I caught two of them fishing just this morning! Astrid was fishing in a pond (with nothing in it...), and Rosie wondered aloud if the fish would bite better if she put a piece of sponge cake on the line. Maybe, but you'd probably also lure in Punchy or Walker that way, too... Speaking of Punchy, he had food on his mind, as usual. He asked whether I liked sweet or spicy food better. I actually love both equally (even though I sadly am allergic to jalapenos...), but I answered sweet food. He then told me how he'd named his bike "Apple Cobbler". Whatever floats your boat, Punch. Later, he was talking about eating spanakopita at an all-you-can-eat buffet. I had no idea what "spanakopita" was, but my curiosity was piqued, and I googled it. Apparently, it's a kind of pie filled with spinach, cheese and onions. My first thought was what I think many of you would be thinking: who in their right mind decided to put spinach in pie?

Lolly's generosity appears to know no bounds, as she pinged me a while later and gave me a strawberry tank! Either she must really be wanting a good birthday gift, or she's just that sweet. I'm going to say it's a combination of the two. Savannah had something Al had left at her house. If Al wants his stuff back, I would normally say let the lazy lump get it himself. But being as I like Savannah, I agreed for her sake. Al seemed glad to get his partition screen back (though I'm not sure why), and gave me a cheese floor as thanks. I had no desire to use cheese as a carpet, so I promptly sold it. Later, Savannah sold me a parlor wall for a halfway decent price. Honestly, I just buy things for the friend points, and besides, I have enough money to go around anyway. Apollo wanted a new catchphrase besides "silly", and since he picked it up from Rosie and it fits him like a glove fits a fish, I gave him back his default catchphrase of "pah". Trust me, Apollo...just because something works for Rosie does not mean it works for you. Eugene was home, and I made sure to stop by his place to snoop--uh, I mean visit! Unfortunately, I found nothing, but he did talk about Lolly and Astrid's friendship and if they might have mentioned him in conversation. This case just gets more and more complicated...

And that was pretty much my day. I am definitely going to see if one of my friends will let me visit their town later for petition signatures, since I think Lolly deserves it. I still need to remember to find her a truly awesome birthday present. If nothing comes up in the store, I guess I can always consult the catalog. Tomorrow, we'll look at another cool place in Animalia I love. Bye!

Fab outfit. Purple is the best. *thumbs up*

Aw, Ruby. I was always a little creeped out by her, but part of me wants in her my town since it's half Alice in Wonderland-themed and she is, ergo, a White Rabbit. d:

And I considered doing that very thing with my roses, but thought it looked weird without green ones, as you said. x) Green flowers would do a lot for the game, I think.

I love your rosy rainbow! That really looks pretty. And what a great way to fill the space!

I'm sure Ruby is sweet, but those eyes would creep me out, so I probably wouldn't take her in, either.

Ooh, spanakopita is very good. Nice choice, Punch.

Good luck with your Lolly-gift hunting!
