No post yesterday because I was out most of the day doing errands. As such, I'm going to start off today by talking about what I did yesterday:
Checking my mail yesterday morning, I saw that Blanca had sent me a letter congratulating me for my good work on April Fool's Day, and attached was her pic as a gift. Astrid also sent me some wallpaper, and there was a letter from my mom with some glasses...even though I have perfect vision. She must be getting forgetful...
Patrolling town, I saw that Walker was home, so I decided to drop in on him. To my surprise, Apollo was there, too! I talked to both of them, and Apollo informed me that Gulliver had washed up on the beach, so I was looking forward to visiting with the traveling seabird. However, what Walker had to say was much more interesting. He was wondering aloud about whether guys and girls could be friends, and eventually gave me this juicy bit of info:

Are they, now? Hmmm.....
Heading back outside, I started my daily task of watering flowers, and also headed down to the beach to check for Gulliver. Sure enough, I found him beak-down in the sand, and roused him awake. He told me he was heading to a place with castles and sausage. I was thinking Ireland at that point for some reason, but then, he said that Einstein was born in this country. That pretty much confirmed that he was heading to Germany, and he was. I was looking forward to receiving a gift from him the next day. After I finished watering flowers, I found Apollo again, and this time he was outside. He wanted me to deliver a gift to Mira, and I was happy to help. But Mira wasn't awake yet, so I decided to talk to my other villagers first, so I went to visit Eugene in his house. He wanted me to go find Astrid for him, and I was only too happy to fetch the little guy's crush. I wondered if he would try to express his love for her once I got her there...but no. He just wanted to return a shirt to her that he had borrowed. Even Astrid seemed a little disappointed that it wasn't what she had hoped for...

Eugene acted a little disappointed that Astrid had left so quickly, but he thanked me for helping him by giving me a sleek wall. Here's hoping he gets over his shyness soon and lets Astrid know how he truly feels. Maybe he needs another little nudge... Not long after that, Mira had woke up, and I delivered the present Apollo had for her. It turned out to be an arctic camo shirt, which she put on. She asked how it looked, and I told her the truth, that it looked "OK"; however, she wasn't too thrilled with that, and gave it to me instead. I felt a little bad, so I talked to her again, and she asked me to catch her a river fish. Since I felt like I borderline insulted her with her shirt, I agreed, and headed outside to catch the first river fish I could find: a crucian carp. I brought it back to Mira, and she rewarded me with a jade plaid shirt. I felt redeemed after that...
Later in the afternoon, Rosie was talking about the impending arrival of Zipper. Everyone make sure to get your tools ready for Easter! I saw Punchy near his house, and he wanted to come over later on. I set the time for an hour later, and went around town some more. Lolly pinged me, and told me she planned to move on the 7th. I don't care what kind of books you're reading, Lolly, you are staying right here. Eugene had a petition called "Accessorize Our Town" he wanted me to get signatures for, but sadly, since I didn't have any plans to visit anyone, I had to decline his request. Al pinged me, and told me he wanted a piece of fruit. I went to my storage to get him a sour lemon (very befitting of my attitude towards him), and to thank me, he gave me a misty tank. Yeah, thanks...not. Back by my east bridge, Lolly and Punchy were engaged in conversation, and Punchy was acting all sad and depressed. I told him to keep his chin up, but the little guy was only hungry. Lolly was glad nothing serious was wrong with him, and so was I. Mira wanted something to replace her foosball table in her house, but the shop wasn't selling anything that was the same size except an astro bed, which Mira already had in her house. Go figure.
Once 5:30 rolled around, I headed to my house, and idled around a while as I waited for Punchy. He finally got there about five minutes later, claiming he got lost on the way. If he's getting lost in his own home town, that truly is sad. Anyhow, I gave him the grand tour, and he apparently liked the look of my upstairs cabana furniture.

Punchy, you have no idea what you just unleashed on the world...
Anyhow, that's what happened yesterday. Today's happenings will come a bit later!
