As I exited my house this morning, I was informed that it was Bunny Day. I remember experiencing this holiday from last year, but was looking forward to doing it all over again today. But first, I had to take care of my daily chore of watering flowers. Along the way, I saw several presents floating by, and shot them down with my slingshot (I usually keep my slingshot in my letters, so it doesn't take up an item space). They all turned out to be sky eggs, which I made sure to save. I finished watering my flowers, then headed to the plaza to speak to Mr. Creepy Spring himself, Zipper T. Bunny. He was his usual springy-yet-seems-to-hate-his-job self, and told me basically what I already know: find one of each kind of egg, and I get something neat. I knew that I'd need my shovel, fishing rod, slingshot and wet suit today. But I was one tool short. So I headed up to the museum, found my previously-retired green wet suit sitting in one of my storage rooms, and dug it out for use today.
As you may know, there are six types of eggs that are hidden around your town: sky eggs (floating by on balloon presents), tree eggs (found by shaking trees), stone eggs (found by hitting fake rocks), earth eggs (found in dig spots), water eggs (found by fishing), and sea eggs (found by diving). What you may not know is that the fake rocks containing the stone eggs are actually glitched: if you don't smash them all today, the ones you didn't break will still be in town tomorrow, but as real, unbreakable rocks. So if you haven't already, get out and break the stone egg rocks...unless you want your town to look like a rocky mess.

After a few minutes of searching, I had to turn off the game to take care of real-life Easter things. However, I came back later this afternoon to give one of each kind of egg to Zipper. As thanks, he gave me an egg basket, which I promptly displayed in my house. I think displaying the egg basket in spring nets you extra HHA points, but don't hold me to that.

I then headed back around town to gather up a few more eggs. After filling my stomach with eggs and candy, I found several prize tickets, and took them all back to Zipper to get several pieces of egg furniture and four Zipper's pics. I honestly think the egg furniture is kind of ugly, so since I have all of it in my catalog already, I took most of it to Re-Tail to sell. Each piece netted me 9,000 bells apiece! Not bad!
Amid so much egg-hunting, I made sure to talk to my villagers as I saw them. Savannah gave me a green warm-up jacket as a free gift, and Rosie had her shovel out, admitting to me that she was going to bury her burnt dinner from last night. At least she's being honest with me! Most of my other villagers were only talking about Bunny Day, and how and where to find eggs.
Unfortunately, one of my villagers couldn't be out and about to experience the holiday today. I stopped in on Punchy, only to see that the poor little guy is sick. I promptly ran up to T&T to grab him some medicine, and rushed it back down to him. Hopefully, he feels better soon...I know how sad it must be to be sick on a holiday!

After getting a few more pieces of egg furniture to save as souvenirs, I decided to call it a night. I had a pretty eventful day in real life, spending Easter with my family, seeing lots of people I haven't in a while, so that took up most of my day, and that's why this post might seem so short. Tomorrow, it's back to normal ACNL life, but that can be just as fun. See you guys then!
