Hey, I didn't wait until the next day to blog about what happened today! I'm so proud of myself. XD
I started up pretty late today, as it was already afternoon when I first turned the game on. As I exited my house, I saw that the cherry blossoms were still floating in the wind. I can't remember exactly how long they stay airborne, but I know it's not long, so I plan to enjoy them while I can.

I was off to water my flowers and dig up my fossils, and like yesterday, I went counterclockwise around my town just to add a little variety. I saw that Eugene was home, and I decided to drop in on him. He asked me to catch him a mole cricket, and even though I knew it would mean a lot of digging, I agreed. Heading back outside, I kept watering flowers until I heard that familiar sound. I probably had to dig up about ten holes to find the mole cricket, but I caught it, and brought it back to Eugene. He seemed happy to have it, and rewarded me with a watermelon table. As I continued on my way, Mira pinged me, and asked if I had a lotus tee. I must have forgotten to sell it after Rosie gave it to me yesterday, and Mira wanted to trade her astro lamp for it. I agreed, but come to think of it, that astro lamp would look pretty sweet in Mira's house...I might mail it to her and see what she does with it!

Down by Punchy's house, I saw Astrid. I had more than a few bones to pick with her after what she did to Eugene. She wanted to visit my house, and seeing it as a perfect opportunity to talk to her about Eugene, I agreed. We headed off, and once inside, I tried to get her to talk. But all she wanted to speak about was how nice my interior looked and how classy my cabana furniture was. However, I did get this out of her:

Hmm...could this be a clue?
After Astrid left, I continued where I left off, finding Rosie and Savannah both singing by the bridge, indicating that I'd missed a conversation. Rosie was now wearing Savannah's pink shirt, but in all honesty, it looks very nice on Rosie, and it fits her personality! Savannah pinged me, and tried to tell me she was moving on the 13th. Yeah, you aren't going anywhere, Savannah, and don't you forget it! I spoke to Rosie next, and she was all excited about the Fishing Tourney this Saturday. She had this to say:

What is it with Rosie and fried dough? First she calls her time capsule project "Project Fried Dough", and now this... Later, I found Punchy by my train station (a long way from home for him!), and he thanked me for taking care of him while he was sick, giving me a blue corner as a thank-you present. He also said he hoped I didn't catch his cold. If that was possible in this game, that would be the worst ever.
And that wraps up today! Tomorrow, I'll be back with another slice of life in ACNL.
