I'd like to apologize to my readers for getting so behind on my blog! It's been a combination of factors: job-hunting, birthday celebrations, family-related things, and the fact that I've recently become addicted to Pokemon Rumble World, just to name a few. But I'm back, and I will do my best never to get this far behind again!
So without further ado, let's jump right in! This will come in two parts, so here's Part 1...
Day 524
The day after my birthday, I decided to change into a more casual outfit, settling on my yellow getup that you guys helped me pick out so long ago. While I was changing, Punchy barged in, and gave me a ninja sword as a free gift for dropping in like he did. Checking my mail, I had a letter from Walker informing me that his birthday was on June 10th! It's so neat that I have a villager whose birthday is so close to my own. I made a note to find him a nice gift. Astrid tried to tell me she was moving out on the 8th, but I got her to change her mind. I found a military uniform in the lost and found, and Apollo wanted to trade it for his dharma. Thinking a villager as patriotic as Apollo would look great in a military outfit, I agreed, but unfortunately, he didn't change into it. Oh well... Checking the campsite, I found Goldie! She's the second normal dog camper I've had in like two months (I had Daisy a few weeks ago), and again, I hoped Walker didn't fall in love at first sight! xD

Day 525
On Thursday, not that much happened. Walker sold me a gas pump for relatively cheap...again with the gasoline? There are no cars in this game! What do we need gas for? Mira wanted me to get her an apple, and in return, she gave me a modern cabinet. I was tripping, so I checked my fortune, finding out that I needed an "official top", whatever that was. Savannah gave me a steamroller as a free gift. I checked the shops for a birthday gift for Walker, but the best I could find was a Mama polar bear that might look nice in his place. Finally, for the second day in a row, I had a camper, and it turned out to be Freya! Maybe she was taking a little break from Camellia? I wished her happy camping, and asked her to say hello to Madison for me!

Day 526
On Friday, I changed into a new outfit, settling on my 1-up cap and tiger jacket. I found a dig spot beside Punchy's house, which turned out to be a time capsule. I figured it must be either Lolly's or Punchy's, and it turned out to be the latter. Punchy was happy about receiving the letter inside, and gave me the classic table he'd buried inside as a gift. More shopping for Walker's birthday turned up nothing, but I did pick up some wrapping paper for when I do find something for him. If all else fails, I still have the Mama polar bear that I bought... Mira wanted to visit me, but since she wanted to set a time that was inconvenient for me, I declined. Apollo had a gift he wanted delivered to Astrid, and it turned out to be a misty tank. She had already bought a replacement, so she offered to give it to me for a relatively cheap price. I agreed, and we both left happy. Lastly, I visited the island later that night to catch a few bugs and fish, and came back to deposit my Bells. My balance topped 40 million! Only 60 million more to go before my gold Bell Saver badge!
