Hey everyone! Sorry about slacking off on my blogging so much...as I've said before, it's been for a variety of reasons. That said, I'm back now, and hope to stay back for the foreseeable future!
Not a lot of notable things have happened while I was away. It's been raining quite a lot, so I've been getting a great deal of new hybrid flowers. Speaking of which: the hydrangea bushes have started to bloom, and they look lovely.

Lolly wanted to move on the 20th, and Astrid on the 24th, but I changed both their minds. After Beth's Lolly moved out unexpectedly, I've been very paranoid about my villagers doing the same, and have been talking to them as much as I can.
I also got rid of the bowling alley in my basement, instead replacing it with a mini-theater area. I had Cyrus customize some astro chairs in blue and black, and I bought a flat-screen TV as well. I'll be posting some pics once I take some, to see if you guys like it, or the bowling alley better.
Over my stretch of absence, Animalia has had three campers: Snake, Pecan, and Sally. They were all fairly nice, but I would definitely not be asking any of them to move into Animalia. And if I did, Snake would need lots of cardboard boxes to sneak around in! XD

My villagers have asked me for too many favors to mention here, but there have been a few of note: Apollo gave me his modern end table as a gift, and before I had a chance to send it back to him, Savannah wanted to buy it. Since her house contains modern furniture too, I agreed, and she has since put it out in her house. Eugene tried to sell me a basic painting (which we already have in the museum), and I played hide-and-seek with Astrid, Walker and Punchy a few days back. Oh, and Al still hasn't pinged me to move. I've started hitting him with a net to make his stay in town miserable.
The 28th was, of course, the first Bug-Off of the year. I have all the Bug-Off trophies except the bronze, and I strove to get it this year. I entered a tiger butterfly that netted me 3rd place, but I was unfortunately unable to hold onto that place. Savannah ended up taking first place, with Walker placing 2nd and Apollo getting 3rd.

While searching for bugs, I dug up a time capsule beside Apollo's house. I correctly assumed it was Apollo's, and it ended up containing a mint gingham shirt. As thanks for helping dig up his belongings, Apollo gave me the shirt.
And Sunday was Father's Day, when I received a red carnation in the mail. It was also the Summer Solstice, the day of endless sunshine. (Aren't you glad real life isn't like this?) Isabelle gave me some ladder shades to wear, but I had some in storage already, so I sold the new ones. However, I did stop to take a few snapshots at the face-cutout standee in the plaza.

Today, Eugene wanted to replace the cabin chair in his house, but since I knew Astrid gave it to him, I didn't find him anything. Al pinged me and gave me a cloudy tee, which I promptly threw in the trash. Afterwards, I pushed him around some more to lower my friendship with him...bloody irritating waste of space. Lolly gave me a stadiometer, and I found a deluxe range in Rosie's dresser when I visited her. Walker had something he wanted delivered back to Savannah, and I was happy to help him out. Once I got it back, Savannah played the "guess the contents of the box" game, and as usual, I guessed clothing. Sadly, it was furniture, so I got nothing. I just hope she doesn't mess her lovely house up...
Punchy wanted a peach, so I headed to the nearest tree to grab him one. As thanks, he gave me an IV drip. I sincerely hope it's not filled with his drool he said he might flood the town with... Later, I spoke to Savannah again, and she said she was going to try to write a book.

What a novel idea! xD
And that does it for the last few days in my town, where it's basically been business as usual. Hopefully I haven't lost my touch on these blogs! I'll be back tomorrow, when I resume my regular daily (or at least, once every 2 days) posts!
