Hey everyone! I didn't blog the day before yesterday because not a lot happened, and I was busy last night, so I'm catching up the happenings of the last two days in this post. That said, let's get right to it!
Day 573
As I exited my house, I was greeted by pouring rain and lightning. I was glad for the change of weather: we haven't had a storm in Animalia in a while. After I equipped my umbrella, Walker ran up to me, and said he had a dream he had to take part in an "epic bowling session", whatever that is. Regardless, he gave me a blue tartan shirt. The results of the prior day's Bug-Off were on the bulletin board, again reiterating how close it really was.

Speaking of bugs, I spoke to Apollo near the instrument shelter, and he told me an...interesting story about when he was younger. Apparently, there was a girl in his neighborhood who used to hate cicada shells.

He then told me he only did it because he liked the girl. Aw...is he just a big softie, or what?
I visited Punchy, who was one of the few villagers smartly avoiding the torrential rain, and he asked me to catch him a coelacanth! I said no, since I didn't want to spend all day fishing. Plus, I don't want him messing up his house by displaying such a giant fish. Mira was out and about, all better from her cold. As thanks for taking care of her, she gave me a green desk. Rosie wanted some fruit, so I headed to the nearest tree to shake her down a peach. As thanks, she gave me a flame shirt. (Maybe a certain uchi deer in Storrs would like this?)
Throughout the day, I also sold a few odd things I didn't need, making a good chunk of Bells in the process. Using some of my new-found wealth, I bought a Gracie wagon that I needed for my catalog.
Day 574
As I exited my house yesterday, Walker wanted to sell me a planked tatami, which I agreed to buy for the friend points. I made my way around town in a clockwise fashion to shake things up, and saw that Eugene was home. Upon visiting him, I found a robo-sofa in his dresser. Later on, Rosie wanted to visit my house right away, and I was happy to let her visit. I showed her all the rooms, and she seemed to enjoy herself before seeing herself out.

Walker wanted to replace his alpine lamp in his house, but since it looks so nice, I didn't find him anything. Lolly wanted a piece of fruit, so I headed to the nearest tree and got her a mango. She enjoyed it, and thanked me with an LED display. Punchy asked me if a string connected the two of us, what color it would be. I answered blue, and he said that must mean our friendship was cool. If you say so, Punchy. I saw Al walking around for the first time in a while, but I didn't speak to him. I'm trying to just ignore him to see if he'll move...hopefully it works.
Eugene then said he had something for Astrid that she'd asked him to get her, and asked me to deliver it for him. He said the future of a "close friendship" was in my hands, and I was only too happy to deliver the gift to the object of his affections. But when I got there, it turned out that Astrid had asked Eugene to pick it up as a gift for me! So much for me hoping about romantic overtones... Anyhow, I opened my new gift, which turned out to be a bad plaid tee that Astrid said she thought "would look good on me". You know, I'm seriously starting to question her taste in fashion.
As I headed back to Eugene to tell him how it went, he said:

Yep, he's been bitten by the love bug alright.
Later, I sold a few more things I didn't need to some needy people on the forum, and deposited my money in the bank. My balance topped 42.3 million Bells! Almost halfway to the gold Bell Saver Badge!
And that's what happened yesterday and the day before! Not too much happened today either, so I may just group it in with tomorrow's blog post. I hope all my readers have a great day, and I'll see you again soon!
