Animated Avatar...

I've been dabbling in digital art for a while now and a couple of years ago I taught myself how to make gifs. While I adore my normal avatar by Zane. I thought I'd give making myself a Halloweenish one a go. It look me 2 days total as I had to create the digital version of my mayor first. Since my AOL was on the fritz today I worked on everything else today. I created everything but the bat. I did add it's eyes though. Unfortunately I screwed up and originally made it 150 x 150 because I thought I'd bought the Avatar Extension. (Note to self: Save up for Avatar Extension.) Once I resized everything it was good to go.

I know it's not that good but I'm sort of proud of this piece since I haven't done much art in a while.

You're very kind, thank you. Animation isn't one of my strong suits either. This is only the 3rd gif I've ever made so I've very little experience. You're a better artist than I am so it means a lot that you like this goofy little piece. Thank you!

Thank you! I thought the bat would work well with all of my sigs.

It took me a couple of days in total. A large part of that was getting the blink & bat to work properly.

That's why I don't bother to do animated drawings because they take to long for me.

I don't do them very often myself. This is only the 3rd one I've ever done.

I used to draw more. I was into MLP for a few years and did both traditional & digital art of that. Then I was on another website that had a forum and I did art work of horses (the website was a game about horses.) I haven't done much art since. I don't know why I suddenly felt like trying to create an avatar. lol!
