Ok bbyg's I'm not an animater obviously but I need some help, that would be cool thanks

Okay,I have this issue where I like to add sparkles to my background, but if I make them all the same time between each frame, the sparkles are way to fast, but if I slow them down the blinking becomes to choppy looking.
I've tried adding more frames, changing various frame speeds and such but cant seem to fix the issue

I use gimp, and I use about 23-25 frames or so.
My struggles.

This example I slowed down the frames but the blinking looks choppyish I believe that the ms was 200 between each frame

I sped up the frames but now it looks like the sparkles will fly off and kill someone each frame was 120 ms

Ok, now in this example, The sparkles were 200 ( or 250ms Idk x.x) ms, and the blinking frames were 120 ms, but you can see when she starts blinking it gets faster obviously. I like the sparkle blink rate on this one

Ah, and I don't know if you wanted to fix the thing where the sparkles speed up during the blinking, but I found the reason why it does that, if you want to know how to fix it.
