Another odd Lilo and Stich series

Just found this guy on youtube not too long ago. He finds some nice obscure things. I'd actually like to see more of this show.

This one is on a Chinese version of the Lilo and Stich series. I'm not bashing these foreign spin-offs, I just find it very odd this and the Japanese version change pretty much everything but the aliens' designs. Maybe they just aren't a fan of the humans' look.

I do know that the people in these U.S.movies were kind of modeled after one guy's art style that likes to focus on cheescakey, naughty stuff. I did wonder why Disney did that, but they do borrow a lot, mostly from the public domain.

Probably the same reason they do it in the West, to have human characters that better represent their countries demographic...But yano, without the whining about whitewashing and altering the source material.

I watched some of the Japanese version of the show and it was mediocre at best. Probably won't bother with the Chinese one.

I agree with Tao. Especially in today's media, representation seems to be becoming increasingly demanded.
