I don't really like the text, its too jagged and has random pixles sticking out in some places...

I'm afraid I'm not a great fan. The render's colours kind of clash with the background, which is itself a little bit dull and uninteresting. The text also leaves a lot to be desired- it simply isn't that clear.

If I were you, I'd move on to a more advanced tutorial. After all, it's just following step-by-step guidelines. No skill involved.

Trawl through Google and cut 'em out yourself. It's what I do with mine.
