Another villager moving glitch report

So yesterday my friend got Lily in boxes for me via amiibo and I adopted her. I spoke to her multiple times and needed to convince her to come to my town each time, like she didn't remember she had already agreed to move in. I was a bit worried but I went forward a day and she'd moved in to my spare plot, so all was good. The next day, she was out and about in my town just like any other villager. Today, I loaded up the game and I thought it was weird I couldn't find Lily anywhere, so I checked on her house -- moved out. She was on my island 100% normal yesterday but today, gone. I have no idea what happened. I'm devastated lmao

I'll probably TT forward to at least see if her house will disappear or if it stays there?

I know that there is another glitch which results in an empty house but it's so strange because she WAS ON MY ISLAND for two days with absolutely no issue, but now she's gone.

I’m sorry this happened to you. It’s so frustrating!

There’s some big issues with using Amiibo cards at the moment. Not so much for using them just for you, but for people using Amiibo cards and giving those villagers to others. I hope there will be a fix soon.

I feel like all of these issues are stemming from picking villagers up from other towns... I really recommend you dont do this until the glitches are fixed.

Is your friend having issues with Lily and her plot on their island? Or are things okay with them?

Update, her house is glitched, I TTed forward a day and it's still there.

@Krissi2197, I actually messaged my friend as soon as she woke up because I'd seen a thread on here about villager glitches and I was terrified it would affect her, but she's all good -- Lily's house gone and replaced with Agnes whose amiibo card she used to force Lily out. I thought that because my Lily was fine, if either of us was to see a problem it would be her.
