Hello~

I have a good friend of mine, whose planning on streaming his animal crossing Island.
This game is his first proper look at the game, but he hasn't played it for a few months now, but wants to again but is unsure on what he can do for his Island.

I dunno if anyone has any advice when it comes to playing the game and streaming, or things he can focus on; I'm not really sure what to suggest to him. I haven't realled watched a lot of animal crossing streams myself so I dunno what really happens? Since he hasn't been on it much, he hasn't really done any terraforming, or has an idea for a theme.
It's actually making me feel like streaming my own game really. XD

Thank you~

I would just say to keep it as organic as possible and be vocal about his reactions to things. Most people who stream theses days have been playing the game for years so getting to see the perspective of a new player would be interesting.

Be open to new ideas (his own/viewers). Not just shut down something on the basis of "I might not like how it looks." But trying it out. May not always work but you never know what gem of idea you might find. Hope this helps! :D

i frequently watch a live streamer whos name i wont add here *if you want to know who it is please pm me. his streams are pretty great* and the reason that i watch his gaming is because; for the most part, hes funny. he has quips constantly, he exaggerates his perplexed attitude *like if he messes something up*, he laughs all the time at things that happen in his game *be it by another player or himself or the gaming dialog* and he has a chatbox on the side where he answers gamers questions during playtime. its generally entertaining SO if your friend wants to live stream This game, which in comparison, is a completely boring game to live stream then they might want to consider what their approach is.
watching someone plant flowers wont be too entertaining, but with the right attitude it could work :)

I was so sad when people kind of fell off streaming ACNH. I miss watching it. The villager hunts, the designing, etc. AC is so comforting. Tell your friend I wish him the best of luck streaming!!! But also tell him to not give up if it starts off slow, since I know a lot of people kind of drifted from AC. I think if he sticks with it, he'll probably gather up the people who love and miss watching AC streams.
The only other advice I'd say to give him is to remember that his Island is his and that he shouldn't compare himself to other islands. Every Island is amazing in their own way and sometimes I think new players just starting come in and see the hard work older players have done and instantly dip out because it takes them awhile to get there. He WILL get there, of course.

i know i answered this late, so update? has your friend started streaming and how is he doing? i hope it's going amazing!

Do not listen to Isabelle and plant lots of flowers to raise your Island’s rating. Within two months those things will spread like wildfire and become increasingly difficult to get rid of. It happened to me three times and I had to reset my Island just to be free from the madness. You throw about a hundred out and spend the entire day doing so and the next day the flowers multiplied even more thus making your efforts useless.

Don't be like me and PLEASE villager hunt for the first three villagers. Ik mine auto filled with Lucky, but that is not gonna happen to everyone lol.

I think new players should enjoy the randomness of meeting auto fills now and then like the old games and not be concerned about grinding dreamies (would they even have any yet?). Villagers do move out, so you're not locked in. The problem is in the early game, spending 2000 miles on NMTs may not be the best use of them when you can be saving for larger inventory, tool ring, better tools, custom designs, and soon to be terraforming.
