Tapatalk is a great smartphone app for online forums. I know TBT already has a mobile site, but having support for a dedicated app is so much better. It's free and apparently it only takes, like, 10 minutes to set up, so how about it?

I think it would be pretty cool, because I use my phone a lot when I'm on TBT. Actually I'm posting this from my phone.

That would be a great idea, like the OMGPOP Forums App (another forum I go to)!

90% sure jer's answer will be: "do it for me and i'll think about putting it up."

95% sure Jer's answer will be: "Sure, I'll put it on the list but I've got 1001 other things to do first, with 1 new task being completed per month! Only 1001 months to go until it's implemented!"

[trollface]

Also, just to let anyone who may be unfamiliar with the app know, the app itself isn't free. Setting up the forum for use with it is free, but the app itself is $1.99. But it's completely worth it. It's the best dedicated forum app available (actually, I think it's the only decent one available at all), and it's SOOOO much better than using your phone's mobile browser.

What about it is better then vBulletin's default mobile skin/website? Just because it's an app instead of a webpage doesn't make it better. You can add pages to your home screen.

There's a big difference between a mobile web page and a dedicated forum app. It's hard to explain without actually showing you what I mean, so here's a video of it:

Ha, I ran a search & found this. ^_^ 2 years has passed & Tapatalk just released V4 on sale ($.99) for a week @ the Google's Play Store. The usability's very slick & the UI has been Holofied.
