Any horror fans out there?

I'm making a kinda interesting island, and creepy. I feel like I'm giving stuff away, but when its complete, I'd like a play tester. I don't want to make my friends on here, who dont like creepy stuff, to test it. But anyone up for a puzzle once I finish it. A maze/puzzle island

Also if you have ideas. You could pm me? Or mention things that might fit a creepy theme?

I’d recommend creepy villagers. I’d say Lucky and Ankha are a must. I’d give them graveyards as their yard. K.K. Dirge is a great tune to have throughout the island.

Not a bad idea, also to play that. I actually had music always playing all over my old island, so that's a good idea

A great start would be to have villagers that fit the theme of your island. I definitely think the two I previously mentioned are an absolute must, especially Lucky because he’s literally a mummy dog. Maybe Pietro would be a good choice. Clowns are considered scary. Maybe create a story for your island. I’ve seen creepy islands with stories where you had to find out about the killer. I think the islands with stories attached are interesting and unique. You could have someone “die” and leave evidence for the person to try and figure out who did it. Maybe set up one of your villagers?

Yeah, it's ironic that pretty all my creepy villagers are on my side. But that's also got a spooky theme, very different from this 9ne though

I remember a really cool dream address that did that in New Leaf. I have no idea what it was at this point, but one of the player characters was the murderer and you had to figure out which one it was based on clues around the island. I think there were clues leading to spots where a piece of clothing was buried, and whoever the killer was had the same outfit as the one you found.

That’s good you already got a backstory. I love the islands with a backstory. I think the skeletons and Halloween items are great for atmosphere.

I love horror! ...But am painfully shy and don't like visiting other people's islands so I'm probably not a good tester Would be happy to help with backstory/advice if you need it, though! In addition to being a horror fan I'm also a horror writer

yep, i would be interested in visiting as well! i LOVE creepy stuff and horror. i wish they had more items available for that theme, or even for a gothic theme; my entire town would be goth if they had cool items like that.

By the way, if you know your weather seed and do time travel, you could try and find your thunderstorm or heavy fog weather if you plan on putting up a DA. It would add to the atmosphere.

Awesome! Yeah, I made sure to come up with a story first, but then decided to make it a puzzle/maze island for a bit more fun

I've never actually had a foggy weather one, that sounds cool, I've seen a thunderstorm, that would be cool

If you're in the northern hemisphere, Heavy Fog usually happens from late September until February, always at 7 AM. This is different from Water Fog though (mists on rivers). Also, since it's seasonal, you're restricted to either Fall or Winter.
