Basically, my skin has always been a little bad and was eczema prone when I was a kid. I've never really worn a lot of makeup, but a couple of years ago I started wearing eye shadow and a little mascara, and it was completely fine.

Then, early this year I tried eyeliner. Pencil was fine, but liquid brings up an eye infection (little itchy red spots around my eyes) within a few days. So I stuck to mascara, and was fine.

I've taken a break from makeup the past couple of months, but the other day I tried eye shadow and mascara again - the same brand as I used before! And now I've come up with another eye infection. Ugh.

Does anyone know of brands that are less likely to upset my skin? Thanks:)

bareminerals!!!!! if you give me a few hours after i finish studying i can rack up a list of amazing make up for sensitive skin :)

you should look into faerie organic's stuff, it's organic (duh) and one of the only brands i've used that doesn't irritate my skin or anything. c:

lush cosmetics has great skincare and other little goodies to cater to sensitive skin.
colourpop is one of my favorite makeup brands, and everything is between $5-8 dollars.
too faced & tarte also make great makeup for sensitive skin
cruelty free is a huge thing to me when buying makeup and i gravitate towards more natural ingredients.

Thanks guys! I'll definitely check out the stuff you recommended ^_^

@Gamzee I tend to use Boots natural collection (UK cosmetic store) and Miss Sporty...also other more expensive brands but I can't honestly remember which.

I've heard ELF product swings between either being really good or really **** for your skin though.

Yeah, elf products are either really good or awful. They have a great blush and bronze palette and I love their lip products but their foundation makes my skin burn:mad: I'd recommend them if you have the money to experiment with their products; they're cheap so some are great and some are pretty awful.
I switch around from products all the time, but Kat Von D foundation is what I'm using right now and has worked the best for my skin. And, if you need something full coverage it's great, it's even covered up the dark tattoos I have. Burt's Bees products are pretty nice too. Try to look in the product ingredients for anything fragrance free and hypoallergenic, if you're like me highly perfumed or chemically smelling products make my eyes and face burn.

Pixie is a good brand, but kinda pricey. You can usually find it at target. Also Clinique is a good brand as well, I swear by their makeup removers. Also I’ve gotten eye infections before, have you checked to see if your makeup is expired?
