really random... well, it's not really random, but...

i want to stream my oc, penny's island story in the future when i'm able to ... but i know i'll be nervous...😟

if anyone streams on youtube/twitch, any tips/advice?

If you are still in need of some advice, I’d recommend to not get discouraged if you start out with a lack of viewers. There are big YouTubers that started out with a small following, but they never gave up. I think audience engagement is a big thing. It will bring viewers back. Some live streamers just ignore their audience completely. While the streamer has a right to do that, I think engaging with your audience will help you out immensely in keeping a fan base. I hope this helps!

okay, thanks :>

Are you going to stream with a facecam and a mic? I think if you get OBS, you can split the game audio input from the voice input! That should make it easier to mute just yourself or the game. If you're going to use a face-cam, I'd make sure to play around with the stream layout a bit so you're cutting out minimal gameplay.

I also noticed from watching my friends stream that it's really hard to keep checking chat while playing if you don't have two monitors. My friend didn't have two monitors so they opened their stream up on their phone to check comments while playing!

i don't think i'd be ready to use a facecam yet.... i also feel like i'd need a new mic... & i'll be using obs :>

i'll be using a laptop when i do it.... sooo... i should get a 2nd computer monitor & plug it into my laptop?

it's not until in the future, when i'm ready, anyway..

Besides having a proper stream setup, I recommend having a gimmick. Either having a persona or something else to grab people's attention when you stream. You'd want to stand out as much as possible considering streaming is very common now a days.
