Any way to give a Rainbow Stag to someone?

My girlfriend needs a rainbow stag for her villager, and I already caught one. Is there any way I can give it to her? I already tried dropping it in my house so she could pick it up, but no dice. I figure I won't be able to drop it in her house either. You can't wrap it with wrapping paper either. Is she just going to have to catch her own?

I don't think there is a way to give bugs and fish to another player. But you might be able to give the beetle to her villager.
