For those who don’t know, Chloe Ting is a YouTuber who films workout videos and has a ton of programs on her website - all totally free! She started gaining a lot of traction when quarantine became a thing, and it seemed like everybody and their sister was doing her ‘abs in two weeks’ challenge. I thought that this thread might be a fun way to bring together anybody who does her challenges here in the tbt community. It could also be a nice way to introduce people to her because she’s awesome and deserves all the love and clicks! 😊

I discovered her around the end of May, when she had already been dominating the internet for awhile. I just finished her ‘28 day shred challenge’ yesterday and I’m SUPER happy with the results. I did mostly low-impact and I still lost about an inch and a half off my waist. It’s unreal how much stronger I am than when I started! I’ve tried a ton of at-home workouts in the past, and I haven’t clicked with any of them quite like I have with Chloe and her routines. She has a way of making it easy for beginners to do really hard things, and it only makes me want to keep going. I’m going to start her 35 day summer shred from last year on Monday!

What about you guys? Have any of you been doing her workout programs or seen any results? Or if not, have you found a way to enjoy keeping fit at home during quarantine?

I've never heard of Chloe Ting, but she definitely sounds like someone worth checking out! Could definitely use some re-motivating after these last several weeks.

As for me, I signed up for my trial Fitbit subscription to give me some goals. I was still working during quarantine, but it gave me something to look forward to getting into! I also downloaded Just Dance 2020 at the end of March. I'm an upstairs neighbor currently so it's hard to play and not sound obnoxious on the living room floor, but I've logged a couple hours anyway since it's fun :')

Dude that rocks!!! I am in the middle of the shred challenge. Something very stressful occurred in my personal life recently so I started getting no sleep though, and the last time I got no sleep while still working out while deprived I injured myself really badly so I chose to take an extended break in the middle. Tomorrow I start again though. Kind of kicking myself for how long that break lasted but hey, whatever works! I will still finish it by the end of July, so that will still be okay! I LOVE her workouts so much and I am so excited to see results. I honestly am starting to see some -- I lost an inch after doing her 2 week shred, and I am starting to see the very smallest hints of my collarbone dips! I haven't seen them in a while, especially since quarantine lol.

She is the BEST literally and I recommend her to anyone who wants to workout. I love her videos and her methodology. I am not sure which one I'll do next but I plan on doing her programs as well as C25K until I reach my fitness goal! I used to be an Orangetheory member actually, before quarantine occurred. However I replaced it with her. It was $150 a month for that subscription so with Chloe's free programs I am saving.... a LOT of money lmao. I love her. She deserves all the views in the world. I swear she had like 8 million subs when I first started paying attention to her and now she has like over 10 or something crazy! I'm so happy to see her so successful! She truly deserves it.

I've never tried her workout videos before, but I've seen lots of review videos of people doing them! The results seem to be good but I hear some people complain that their waists changed in a way that they didn't like after doing 'abs in two weeks'? Mia Maples and her mom did a cute video about it on her channel and they seemed to like it, but they strike me as people who enjoy doing exercise anyways.

Personally, her videos aren't really for me. I prefer to exercise through walking or through dance or yoga. Lately, I've danced along to Just Dance videos on YouTube. I set a playlist of things I want and then follow the moves as best as I can. Or, I'll do Dansique Fitness - she does a lot of ballet-based videos! I tried following along to Zumba too, but I just can't get the steps down. I think it will be more useful for me to follow a class for that.

I think I prefer dance because I did ballet for so many years! I saw it as something fun to do, not really as exercise, whereas Chloe Ting's videos remind me of exercise. I like being able to dance along to the music, and it's instinctively easy for me to modify if it's too hard to do or if it's hurting a body part. My knees are fairly bad, so I can't do a lot of jumping/kneeling exercises.

It's difficult to exercise lots now because of schoolwork and how hot the house gets (we don't have AC). Even walking outside seems iffy because it's so hot, and also of course there is the virus to worry about.

Heck yes!!! Everyone needs a break now and then, especially when they’re not getting enough sleep. Don't beat yourself up about taking a break. Chloe would be proud of you for keeping at it! :D Which shred are you doing if you don't mind my asking? I’m on week one of the 2019 one and so far I think it's harder than the 2020 one.

And yeah, Chloe is one of those rare internet personalities that isn't underrated at all. The term 'life changing' gets thrown around a lot, but she genuinely has changed my life for the better. I actually look forward to exercising every day instead of thinking of it as a chore. And the results speak for themselves too - I've actually lost another half inch since I last measured myself, making it 2 inches total that I've lost thanks to her. She genuinely deserves every ounce of her success and I couldn't be happier for her doing so well for herself!

Sending you good vibes in your fitness journey friend! 🙌💪

Aww thank you!!! I'll send good vibes right back to you! It is a super rewarding journey!

I am doing the 2020 one!!! I'm actually debating whether or not I should just start it over and maybe do like the 2 extra weeks or complete it and do the Hourglass next as planned. I think I'll just continue it and do the Hourglass, but I'd hate to buffer my progress from my break. But yes I definitely needed it! Working out on no sleep is dangerous.

Omg that is awesome! I got pretty obsessive over measurements for a while so I've forced myself to not take any until I complete the program. But I can definitely tell a small difference already, even though I've been stagnant for about a week. She really is an amazing fitness personality tbh. She is so cute and sweet too and she makes you feel welcome and encouraged! She is overall just super great and I am so thankful I found her videos. I plan on using them to complete my entire fitness journey. I've promised myself a big shopping spree at the end of it so hopefully that'll be enough motivation to keep me going through all of those WRETCHED plank jacks 😅 people hate up and down planks but I'm fine with those, I just HATE plank jacks sooo much lol.

I haven't hear of her, I'll need to look her up later!
I recently decided I needed to change my lifestyle because I've been living a very sedentary life since... well you know... the virus .-. and I purchased a routine just last week and it kicked my butt. Second day was leg day and I was sore until yesterday (about a week) because of my unhealthy lifestyle I need to take things slowly, I would really hate to injure myself, because I know that I'll just stop exercising if that happens.

Good luck on your health journey! If I end up watching and doing some of her challenges I'll let you know how it goes 🙆‍♀️

I've been watching her videos for what seems like a year now😂 ive been really really wanting to try out her 2 week ab video as during quarantine I've put on a few pounds and I'm looking for something to keep me in shape. Ive tried quite a few of her videos but I always end up stopping after like a few days because I'm lazy. The problem is I want to lose weight but I have no motivation. I wanted to start the 2 week video on July first and well its july 23rd and I havnt done anything 😳

I will eventuuallly do it though, I need to get back in shape and I always hear great reviews from people who have tried her workouts
