Super Smash Bros. Ultimate references in some of Isabelle's dialogue. In her reveal trailer for Smash, she unmistakably confirmed that Smash 4 is canon to Animal Crossing, so it would be weird if she didn't mention something of her time in Smash Ultimate, how she showed Falcon her moves. (Unless my theory holds true that she volunteered for Nook's getaway package, so she could escape the torment she suffered when she returned to her town from Smash, to a town of angry residents who felt the injustice of her callous departure, the town slowly going to ruin without the cheerful yellow puppy to run it.)
