Anyone catch any Cherry Salmon, Rainbow Trout and Char yet?

Where and when did you catch them? IGN's guide is a bit conflicting.

So I got a Cherry Salmon while visiting a friend's island, but then he disconnected so I lost it... Real sad about that one. I remember catching it near the part of his river where the bottom of the waterfall was!

I caught a Cherry Salmon on the cliffs when using a nook miles ticket!

for cherry salmon, fish on the cliffs at the very top

its active hours are 24 hours so it should not take too long

I've got them all except the Char.
Nintendo changes the location of the fish in every release of the game, so nearly all info in conflicting.

New Horizons is definitely in the river on a cliff though as revealed by Critterpedia.

Umm.....that would because 5pm sits in between 4pm to 9am.

EXAMPLE:
4pm, 5pm, 6pm.....7am, 8am, 9am

I got the cherry salmon and rainbow trout not the char. I don't really remember the time. XD I've grinded so much fishing for bells so.

I found the cherry salmon in the river last night!
It was after 8pm. I was up super late. I want to say I caught it around 11pm.
