this series is definitely one of my favorites, and the fact that i can play it on the switch soon is so nice!! it's kinda like minecraft in that i feel like i need it on every console. i'll definitely be purchasing it on release, and apparently the legendary collection is only $50 for the first borderlands, borderlands 2, the presequal, and almost all of the dlc. the box art is also very pretty. so excited to journey through the borderlands again!

I'll be very excited if it features local co-op like the other console versions do.

my sister was the one who told me the news and i asked her about multiplayer!! she googled it (im not sure what her sources were) and found out that there is couch co-op with one other person and online multiplayer w/ up to 4 other players. i dont think there's specifically local multiplayer if that's what u were looking for.

Yeah, this is what the other console versions had. Was pretty disappointed when my PC version didn't have that, very few games these days allow you to play like that with only one copy of a game (rip ds download play), so I'll have to consider buying this game again I suppose. :D

i think borderlands remastered for the ps4 allows up to 2 player splint screen, and i know for a fact borderlands 3 for ps4 allows 4 player split screen (tested it with my family, but it really sucks unless u have a gigantic tv!!). i think they both allow u to choose whether u want the split screen to be horizontal or vertical, but id only ever choose vertical as its the best imo. there is an issue with bl3 where if u enter an inventory screen or something while split screen, it causes the other person to lag. idk if theyve fixed it, i only played the game within a few days of its launch.
