Lately, I have been dealing with this incredibly peculiar issue when it comes to my 3DS Internet Browser. In fact it's so strange I don't even know how to search Google for answers. Just wondering if anyone else here is having the same issue.

Whenever I type a key using my 3DS keyboard, it will give me every other key I previously typed. Say I type A, then I type B. What should happen is that when I press B, I only get B. What instead happens is I get AB, making the full message AAB. This includes using backspaces. As a result, my 3DS keyboard is literally useless right now.

Say I wanted to type the word "Mario". With this bug, I end up with "MMaMarMariMario".

I just want to know if anyone else has this issue as well. If you feel like trying it, just go into Internet Browser and try typing on your keyboard. I wonder if it has anything to do with the recent update. It was working fine before that happened. Though it's such a strange issue that I really have no idea what is causing it.

It works fine for me. I wasn't able to find anything in a few quick Google searches, either. I'd message Nintendo support and see if they know what you can do about it - if anyone else has had this problem, they'll probably know, and they'll hopefully know how to fix it. But before you message them, it'd probably be good to check if the keyboard works in 1) other games, and 2) other apps using the system keyboard, such as the 3DS Image Share or Mii Plaza, and to include that information in your message.

Using the online image share today, it worked fine for me. However, your issue sounds like somethin I've encountered before, back when Miiverse was still a thing. I don't know what could have caused the issue, so I'll just say-
1 calibrate the touch screen. Don't know how well this will help, if at all.
2 maybe clean off the screen? It might be picking up particles and acting weird, idk.
3 leave the system alone for an extended period of time.
4 maybe it was really bad Internet connection? This might have been the case for me.
