Anyone else miss music boxes?

Listening to the music box versions of songs and collecting giant clams for them was one of my favorite parts of new leaf so I'm really sad that they're not in New Horizons as far as I can tell. Also doesn't seem like many people are asking about them so might not have been a popular feature. It definitely changed my opinions on a few songs and I typically preferred the music box version..

YES literally was just thinking of this the other day. i always get them for my bathroom, i just love that vibe and looks better than a music player inside of it. i might look for a player that would look good / match the aesthetics and play stale cupcakes for that room now.

Yes, they're so lovely. And they'd look even better with the new shell furniture! Imagine being able to customize them to the pearl finish. /sigh

I used to listen to the steep hill music box version on repeat :'( I hope the audio files at least get used somewhere somehow.. maybe for the winter event /wishful thinking/

I hope so! They definitely could add it back in. Marine Song 2001 sounds so much better on the music box.

YES OMG I thought I was the only one who realized they were missing in this game! I really hope they get added back into the game at some point because I will be really disappointed if they don’t make a return. I have a room in my house in NL that I use to store my collection and show them off.
