Anyone from NSider remember me?

After being permabanned from Ninfora for what seems like forever I kinda forgot all of those years I spent on there, NSider, and NSider2 were a thing, until it just popped into my head randomly today and I started mucking about online with it. I came across this thread: https://www.belltreeforums.com/threads/did-anyone-on-here-by-chance-ever-post-on-nsider.475767/ where someone said he's old, but not that old, in reference to having been around for NSider, and I was like, c'mon, I know I turn 27 at the end of the month, but I'm not that old. So, I thought I'd make an account here cuz I felt like it.

As for Animal Crossing? Been playing it since around the time it came out on Gamecube in America. I've played almost all of the games but each one since the first one I've played slightly less. I barely played the new one on Switch at all. I bought the Switch Online Expansion Pass and just opened New Horizons to see if everything's working, but I'm still in a tent and my whole island is like one big weed farm.

I've actually been playing a lot more of a repro cart I have of the English mod of the N64 version of the original game, tbh. Although, it's been a number of months since when I was playing it regularly. But I still played it way more than I played New Horizons. You just can't beat the original game imo.

Sadly I was merely a baby when NSider was still a thing, so I'm not from there, I wish I was able to experience it though. But alas, welcome to TBT!

hey there! welcome to tbt! it’s very nice to meet you.

i wasn’t even two years old when nsider launched, so i think it’s safe to say i never used it aha. i’ve also never played the original animal crossing, but i definitely agree that there’s something about it that you just can’t get from the other games, despite how amazing the other games are. there’s no shame at all in preferring it over new horizons!
