Anyone had a villager ask for a catchphrase change yet?

Has anybody had a villager ask you to change their catchphrase yet? I’ve had one get sick and one ask me for a black bass, but I’ve yet to have one ask for a new catchphrase. This is a little unfortunate, as I’m eager to build an army of drug dealers and sailor mouths.

Also: do they still have greetings or offer to give you nicknames? I haven’t seen people post things about either of those, so I wonder if they still exist.

i haven't had anyone ask for a catchphrase, but pierce nicknamed me chickpea the other day and it's spREADING

I haven't been asked to change a catchphrase but Canberra gave me the nickname of Gigajolt...
Yeah I'm not sure what to think of that!

I have not, but I believe it must be in the game because Isabelle allows you to address a villager's behaviors including "the way they talk."

Fauna and Snake call me "somersault". It's kinda growing on me somehow...

I've had both Maddie and Sylvia ask me for catchphrases. I did TT a lot during the first week, so it may be related to that or friendship level.

I'm wondering that myself, too - I felt like in New Leaf they asked for catchphrases way too often, but no one has asked about that yet in NH. I really want to change some of the defaults, but I don't want to "report" them to Isabelle, lol.

No, no catchphrase changes. I did have Teddy ask to give me a nickname, but was disappointed when I rejected his suggestion that I didn't get to suggest a different nickname to him instead!

Oh wow I really hope catchphrases can be changed. I haven’t had anyone ask for a new catchphrase but I guess they made it rarer now.
