I'm sending an Animal Crossing themed package to my friend and I was wondering if there were any ACNL crafts I can send with it? I'm just looking for ideas.

I suppose it depends on how creative you are, the most I would manage is a card ;)
You could maybe do some pop up cards? If you're good at drawing, you could draw animal crossing characters or special characters and have them pop out the inside of the card. If you're got the time and the materials you could do a clay model maybe? And then paint it. Maybe you could do a landscape painting of your town? Or a painting will all your villagers included?

Is that the sort of thing you mean? As I said, it depends on how artistic you are. Those I suggested would be too complicated for me;)

depending on your craft level, a plush or charm would be cool!

or you could always order something off etsy that someone else made by themselves, lol

Making a bell bag would be pretty simple I think! And you could always wrap it up so it looks like a present (minus the balloon, although you could include a deflated one as a nod to that?)

You could find any old rock and paint the stars on it to make it look like a fossil...or depending on how it's travelling to your friend/ how long it'll take, you could bake cookies with blue food colouring and ice on the decoration! Uhh... I've run out of ideas now sorry xD

Oh a charm! That would be brilliant. Somebody on here used to make them and started a shop
They were so cute
With that in mind, depending on your recourses, could you do a necklace or bracelet? Maybe with charms attached?

As has been said, it depends on how crafty you are, what resources you have or can get, and what types of things you're looking for. I like the suggestions given by others, I'm thinking of doing some myself! Your best bet may be to google search AC:NL and the kinds of crafts you're looking for. As an example, there are *loads* of awesome AC-themed parties - decorations, favours, and truly fabulous cakes - on google images.

I didn't want to buy anything off of etsy because I know I could try to make a plush or charm for less probably. If I were to make a plush, I would just need to find a sewing pattern for it or I could just do it from scratch. I was looking at those shrinking plastic charms too but I don't know if I could color the villagers that well because I don't have artist pencils.

Attach a letter using the Animal Crossing themed stationary! :D You can use inDesign or Photoshop to make it!

I saw that somewhere! You would print out the stationary and glue it to a sturdier piece of paper... I was planning on doing that. Now I just want to figure out how I could make a fossil pillow because I feel like I could do that since I can sew. I'm bad at making anything out of clay tho so I cant make those clay charms.

I don't know how long your friend's hair is, but you can attach some jingle bells to a hair tie or ribbon so that they can put it in their hair like Isabelle.

get a piece of foam, paint it grey, hollow it out (but keep a piece to close up the part you hollowed out) and put a cute bell bag in it with a few little gifts inside... a gift card to a coffee shop, a plush animal that's the same species as your friend's favourite villager, actual $$$ (haha) etc.... it would be creative and cute!

edit: lol failed to mention that you should shape the foam into one of the rock shapes from the game. haha

I don't know if you know how to crochet, but there are some cute, free villager amigurumi patterns :3 I found these two without having to do a ton of searching. If I come up with any of my own patterns, I'll be sure to post them!

Here's one for Chrissy.

Here's one for Stitches.

You could also have a custom acnl coffee mug made like this one, and some bell coasters to with it like these, or even a custom shirt like this :3

I've made Animal Crossing cross-stitches and perler bead creations before! :)

If you have the supplies, they're super fun to make. I just used the ACNL sprites for templates and they came out great. :)

Also I stumbled across this picture the other day and thought it was the coolest idea! (I'm thinking of doing something like this for my boyfriend next Valentine's Day, he loves Animal Crossing)

How about small figurines made of polymer clay or some other similar product? A TBT member named Leen made a very cute Butch figurine a while ago. I don't know how practical it is to send them in packages but maybe you could considering making something like that too? I for one really like the idea and think figurines are nice to look at and would make great decoration elements. :)

Thank you for all the ideas! I think I'm ready to get started with making everything.
