Anyone in Japan with the game willing to try and help me get the 7-11 DLC?

I really want the 7-11 DLC furniture but with me living in the UK it will be a bit difficult

I originally thought if someone could buy the game and load the DLC onto it then they could post the game to me.

Then someone pointed out that you can save a villagers house you've made to their Amiibo card and if someone else scans that card it will give them the furniture in the house.
(I presume it saves the furniture in the house you made for them and not the furniture they unlock?)

Obviously having just a card posted is a lot cheaper than paying for an extra copy of the game!

If anyone who is getting the DLC is willing to test this, let me know!

I actually hope that it can be done using HomePass. (I'm pretty sure actually)
Since it will still take some time (about 2 weeks) until I can try it out, maybe someone who has already downloaded/received the game could test it?

I tried looking homepass up, but I don't think you can do it with the 7-11 spots like you can with best buy :/

I think that was after the 7-11 promotion had ended and Nintendo distributed it through Nzones, I don't think it works with 7-Spot because of the encryption :/

I might be able to help you out. I'm getting my 3DS with HHD on it in a few hours, and I'll drop by 7-Eleven once I get it all set up. I'm not sure it will work with the DLC, though, since 7ごう doesn't have an actual amiibo card, but I'll see what I can do.

I know he doesn't have a card, what we thought was if someone has a duplicate card of any villager, they could create that villagers house with just the 7-11 furniture in, then save the house to that villagers card.
In theory it should work, if the cards save the furniture in the house you created and not the furniture the villager unlocks

Here's the response:

7-Eleven's connection uses some type of proprietary router service for its connection. After trying to crack it for a few hours, I finally gave up and instead searched for other users that had the quest (regarding Monster Hunter), and just joined their quest in order to get what i needed.

Is there a reason you're still interested in emulating their connection? What do you need to use it for?Thanks again for contacting me!
