Using AC ToolKit and taking advantage of glitches (duping) is fun for some, but it's just not Animal Crossing. All games are made up of rules and Animal Crossing was sold to you with specific rules and an image that the developers intended. That's the REAL Animal Crossing. It's the only thing I'm into.

So, I'm looking for users who play like I do and enjoy regular 'ol Animal Crossing, not Animal Crossing: Editing Software or Animal Crossing: Glitch Manipulation. Let me know if there is anyone who still enjoys the surprise Animal Crossing brings day by day because those are the people I want to Wi-Fi with. This will also help maintain the value of your hard earned Bells and items.

I'm also a huge fan of WiiConnect24 and its role in the city. I'd like friends who use these features as well (i.e. Auction House, HRA Model Room, GracieGrace Display, Town Charms). Unlike many, I care a lot about my neighbors and always send them at least one letter to bring with them when they move. I decorate their houses and give them goofy catchphrases too. I have yet to meet a neighbor from a friend's town and I'm always letting neighbors move in hopes they will do so. If you could do the same, that would be great.

Your first two paragraphs was just disgusting imo. Why must you talk down to someone because they Dupe or use AC Tool Kit? I myself have duped for people and myself and this is why i find that opening statement rude and just makes me not want to play with you since your going to be all high and mighty about a game.

and not many people play AC anymore.

I'm really sorry if I offended you in anyway. Maybe I did come off as all uppity, but I certainly don't think that. You have every right to play how you like to. I'm just trying to find those who play like me and enjoy Animal Crossing how it was made.

Edit: Perhaps the numbers aren't as great as when the game was released, but that's the same with any game. There is still a good number of people who play the game.

The glitch is there for a reason, it was pointed out to Nintendo during WW and still they put it in. So its obivously meant to be exploited.

Everyone has at some point TT'd, Duped or AC ToolKitted on this. Or 'cheated' in a game. Noone can firmly say they havent, since most things in a game are counted as 'cheating'.

There isn't nothing wrong modifying your Wii in anyway or making codes. Heck, I make codes for the Wii. But when your modifying your Wii you have to take all 101% responsibility to your console. But, this is my opinion and not yours. Personally, I like cheating games then playing them legit.

Hm, "the glitch is there for a reason"? It's not really a glitch if it is a feature put in Animal Crossing on purpose. If they wanted people to use this "glitch" then it wouldn't say "please do not turn off the power or touch RESET" when the game saves after someone leaves. It just doesn't make sense that Nintendo would intend for people to put in a feature like this so players could duplicate items.

I'm not looking for people who have never "cheated". I'm looking for people who play and enjoy Animal Crossing right now and who want to Wi-Fi. I think it's a little much to say that everyone has "cheated" at some point. My cousin hasn't done any of the things you listed and he still plays.

Yep, I respect that too. I think my first post made it sound like I felt there was something wrong with doing that, but clearly there aren't any rules against it. How you enjoy the game is how you should play as long as it doesn't infringe on others fun.

ACTUALLY it doesnt say that, you have to do it BEFORE he says that. Hence the glitch. Plus TimeTravelling is put in on purpose or it wouldnt let you.

Nintendo purposely put the Time Travel in there because if they didn't users quit the game in less then a few months.

Also duplicating was found on a accident, not on purpose.

But it was ALSO pointed out during AC WW, so it was obviously put in for this.

Sanji, that's some pretty poor evidence for Nintendo supporting the thing you still refer to as a glitch.

A agree, the clock feature was placed in the game so that people could enjoy the experience of different seasons and not be completely restricted to current time. However, the game has a few penalties for making any adjustment to the clock. These include low turnip prices, no red turnips, redd and GracieGrace items sold out, no Phineas, and no Gracie in GarcieGrace. I think it's safe to say the developers didn't want people taking advantage of the clock and using it to gain wealth.

I personally have no problem with TTing unless it is simply for wealth. I enjoy the game and how it runs parallel to real-world season so I hate spoiling the surprise by adjusting the clock, but I completely understand why others do it.

Actually (like i pointed out on another thread) your info on TTing is wrong.

1. 'Low Turnip Prices' just puts the value at 50-100 bells per Turnip.
2. You DO still get red turnips, but you must've missed her before (so if you bought them on week 1, then missed week 2 and TT'd she'd have 1).
3. Redds items sell out Gracie's do not UNLESS you TT into a time where a Sale would be held (shes NEVER sold out).
4. Phineas does appear after TTing, i have seen him MANY times after i TT'd
5. I have also seen Gracie in her shop after TT'ing.

And actually the Developers LIMITED how wealthy you could get.

First of all im not sure if anyone told you yet but theres no talk of hacking in this forum...
Second of all I only play when im really bored sorry and I TT So you wouldent play with me... :(

1. Regardless, it is a reduced selling price.
2. Nope, you mess with the clock and that following Sunday she will be sold out of bags
3.You're right about Gracie's items. I'm not sure why I thought that.
4. Yes, but it won't be until after about a week of not tempering with the clock.

So, basically the penalties last a week which is what I left out. Just think how unfair it would be if you touched the clock just once and never again were you able to find Phineas or Gracie in the city.

The fact that these penalties exist still discourage extensive manipulation of the clock.

Edit: @Jrrj15 Yeah, I suppose I'm looking for those who really enjoy the series. I don't know how much you change the clock though. Like I said, I don't mind the slight adjustment for those who aren't available for certain events, but if you're just seeking wealth then I guess that's not really how I play.

why dont you talk about GECKO OS?
GECKO OS lets you load games from other regions and now about a year or two ago it started to be used as loading your cheats from the root of your SD card from a program that allows you to save the cheats.

If i was to buy a bag, then play naturally till next sunday (when she DOES have a bag) i Can TT and get the bag.

You Idiot I can Use actoolkit and I can dupe items in my pocket I can also brick a person's wii in exactly 1:43 1 minute 43 seconds I can hack your town. If I find you on ac I will add you when Im off wifi I will get your wii's Ip then hack it. Watch out you n00b I can hack better than anyone on tbt

I'm really sorry I don't understand. Once you touch the clock, you have to let a full 7 days pass without touching the clock before you can get a red turnip bag/better turnip prices/redd items/phineas appears, right?
